Haven't had to use them yet but they are thick and durable. The hardware provides multiple ways to attach them to your vehicle if desired-or in the carrying bag that's also provided. Great value for all that you get in the kit.

Boards are great, the mounting hardware not so much..nothing a couple 11 inch locking cables couldn't fix..

I needed to use these to get my F150 off a boulder. The worked like a charm and held up well under the weight of my full sized truck.

For the price they are super quality.

I haven’t used these in an actual recovery yet but… I can say that compared to much more expensive boards these are still very heavily made and ridged with decent gripping surfaces. If having metal studs is important to you then you can easily add them with some flat end screws, washers, nuts and a drill for mere cents on the dollar compared to boards that cost $300. These are a juice worth the squeeze.
