I purchased it before my leg surgery, and its height is adjustable. Since I'm quite tall, I set it to the highest level, which makes sitting down much easier. When I get up, I can hold onto the armrests and stand up easily without using my legs at all. The seat cushion is soft and waterproof, so I don't feel uncomfortable even after a long time in the restroom, and it's very easy to clean.
