So far I used it 4 times, not very consistently yet I see a change. Once I use the medium normal mode, once the high and twice the fast. I love the autoglade option for faster application. One leg took me about 10 minutes, both plus armpits and private parts took only 40m. This product is easy to use, on the bigger size, yet easy to hold and maneuver. I got this over compensator because it's safer for skin with freckles and I can say it won't burst if there's a big contrast in melatonin. Yet I got a white gel liner to cover such spots just in case. After those 4 uses it made my hairs weaker and less dense. Also i truly appreciate the cold experience during the entire process. I feel like will consistency it truly works wonders and I will keep you updated. The only time you can smell something is if hair wasn't shaved properly and it burns. Though so far it proofed to be safe, fast, comfortable, easy to use and to be effective even with inconsistent use. There I give it thumbs up and I would be happy to pay for it again. Value for money is present!

I bought this a couple of months ago and decided it’s time to write a review. I mainly use it to maintain my results after completing professional laser hair removal. I had done salon treatments for 4 sessions, then switched to this at home instead. I have olive skin, and it works pretty well but I do notice some hair grows back a bit faster compared to salon treatments. I sometimes get mild skin irritation if I use the fast or SHR mode, so I usually stick with the normal level and use it about three times a week after showering. The heat level feels comfortable. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because of the price. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but it does its job well for maintenance.

For me, it's a big yes! After one go, I already noticed the hair on my legs growing slower. It doesn't hurt, unlike the laser I tried in the past, which was so painful I had to stop. This is excellent; it takes a bit of getting used to and maneuvering, but once you figure it out, it's great.

The after two weeks picture in this photo is a lie! This product is not working for me and if anything, it has made everything worse, wayyy worse, since I had to shave to use. I have been using for over a month, going on 2 and I now have a what feels like full on beard patches growing.. I am not joking with you guys. This product does not work and I fall within this so called criteria with lighter skin and darker hairs. I was getting tired of the plucking but I would rather have done that than have to deal with what I have going on now. I got an email from the company shortly after purchasing and heard nothing since. I do not recommend. Afraid of what I am going to have to deal with the rest of my life now thanks to putting my trust into a product that I thought would help with one of the most embarrassing imperfections I could imagine that I have on my face, being a female with big hairy patches on my chin. Hardly flat chested. Thanks a lot Ulike, you suck! 😭 the picture I have here is with a fresh shave. This looks way worse than it everrrrrrr has.

This Ulike IPL cooling hair removal device works excellently so long as you prioritize following the frequency reccomendations-especially for the first 2-4 weeks! It did take a while to adjust to the size, design, and settings and control panel, but the instructions and information pamphlets were very comprehensive, easy to follow, and useful to use as a guideline. I haven't had any adverse effects from using it and the cooling function ensures its comfort. I like the various modes for quick and automated use and varying intensities to work your way up over the first few sessions. The glass window is larger than previous devices I have tried, and though it could be a bit larger, it is still large enough to make quick work of covering different zones and accessing all the nooks and crannies. This set came with glasses, after-session aloe vera, a mini razor, and a cute carrying case, making it an all-inclusive set for oneself and also great for gifting. This device does cost more, but it also has a much longer lifetime than cheaper options that only last for 1-2K 'zaps'. Overall, it has been very effective for my darker hair, but it is essential to use it on the schedule and reshave the area more frequently-or hair growth reverts back to normal, and one must start all over again.

I got this for my wife and she's now been using it for the last few weeks. She's starting to see some positive results and it's looking like her shaving days are over. Her biggest comment is to be patient as she didn't start seeing results until the 2nd week of use. Her comment's on the pros and cons of this unit: Pros: - Very easy to use: simply point at the skin, and the device automatically detects skin tone. - Cooling function on the glass cools quickly and effectively. - Device remains cool to the touch during operation despite warm air exhaust at the back. - Comes with helpful accessories: safety glasses, shaver, Aloe Vera gel, and a travel-friendly storage case. - Glasses fold compactly for storage. - Aloe Vera gel is non-sticky, unscented, and long-lasting with two bottles included. - Laser automatically adjusts strength based on skin tone. - Option to manually adjust strength or set the device to automatic triggering. - Compact size, roughly the size of a shampoo bottle, makes it portable. - Noticeable reduction in hair regrowth after two weeks of use. - High-quality packaging and well-organized storage case. - Cost-effective compared to salon hair removal treatments. Cons: - Requires hair-free skin for operation; burning smell occurs if hair is present. - Fan is can be loud during use. - Compact safety glasses may not fit well for users with wider heads or those wearing prescription glasses. - User manual could benefit from additional clarity and detail. The device is very easy to use. Basically just point at the skin and go. The device detects the skin tone, and everything. The only important bit is to ensure that there is no hair under the light. There was one instance where there was some hair, and it immediately developed a burning smell. It comes with a cooling function on the glass, and it cools very quickly and gets very cold. When it is on, the fan is fairly loud. It also exhausts a lot of warm air on the back. The actual device though does not ever get warm to the touch. The set comes with a pair of glasses for eye protection. The glasses are very compact, with hinges at the arms and the middle to fold up. It is on the small side. I found it a bit tight, but admittedly I do have a wide head. But I couldn't really use them anyways because I wear glasses. It would have been more ideal to have been provided with a set that could go over glasses to serve more people. In the end, I had to wear my own pair of sunglasses for protection. After the session, the kit comes with Aloe Vera gel for applying to the skin. There is no smell to the gel. Once applied, it is not oily or sticky at all. With two bottles, it should be able to last for quite a while. The kit comes with a soft case so you can travel with it. But in most cases, it would be stored in its original case. It is quite large, but it is very nice, and everything is well organized. Overall this really is an impressive kit. The packaging is really well done, and the pieces inside are excellent quality. It is quite expensive, but if you are willing to spend that kind of money, it is a great option as a gift or for personal use. Five stars.

Im giving this 4/5 stars for now as I continue to test the effectiveness over time, but so far I’m pretty impressed. I should preface this by mentioning I have had professional hair removal treatments and at home removal devices. I have had laser and IPL done between 2020-2021 and genuinely my longest lasting results are from IPL. I haven’t seen any growth after my IPL treatments to my bikini line after about a year of treatments so, atleast for me, IPL is a technology that really works well for me and I am hoping I will see similar results with this device. To note I again had amazing results with IPL as someone who is fair skinned with dark, basically black hairs. I have sent friends to the exact same place who were more tanned and they didn’t see the same results with IPL. So I think this is just something to consider before investing in an at home device like this. I would say to self evaluate yourself and if you happen to have high contrast between your skin and hair I’d say it’s going to be worth it. First impressions on this set are that this is clearly packaged and made to be a gift set. The packaging is all very impressive and it includes some impressive touches. I do appreciate that it comes with everything you need and more to do your at home treatment, including aloe for after treatment. For ease of use: instructions are fairly clear. I do wish they had better images in their instructions so I’d better know which buttons they are referring to. It did take me a bit to figure it out, but once you get going it’s pretty easy to use. One thing I do appreciate about this device(over other at home ones I’ve used) is they actually give you a fairly decent cord length. For me this means I can treat while watching tv on the couch and not feel restricted. Just to get you started : plug your device in and turn on with a quick press on the power button on the side. Put on your goggles. Hold the device straight onto your skin standing upwards and allow it to scan your skin type to determine the best strength for you and then you can choose a mode by clicking through the power button. Then, when ready, you can press the front button. If you can do it on auto I think it’s the easiest and you can really get a good rhythm to finish the job fast. Pain wise: this is super painless and you can barely feel a thing. It really is cooling and I would not even rank this a 1/10 on the pain scale, maybe a 0.5/10 so if you’re scared about pain this will be a breeze. The device ca n get a bit warm when you use it for too long so just pull it back from your skin for 30 seconds or so and let it cool off a bit before continuing and it will feel cool again. Effectiveness: It’s again a bit too early to say. I am about a month in and have done only about 2-3 treatments a week so far. My legs have been my battle over the years and they are feeling more smooth. I honestly think this is working but I want to give it a couple more months to see if it grows back or not. I will update as well once I give it more time.

The Ulike Air 10 IPL Hair Removal Device is powerful and easy to use. The 2x light source really speeds things up, and the high energy output makes it effective even on stubborn hair. The limited holiday set in purple is a nice touch too. So far, results look promising!!
