Comma RO500 500ml Release Oil Aerosol

This has helped with freeing off a seized 1933 engine. It was recommended by the manager of a Halfords car repair / service centre but it, curiously, not something which Halfords Retail stock!!

Good results in freeing corroded nuts and bolts

Purchased on the strength of other reviews primarily, and has turned out very well. It works! I had some old and totally immovable radiator valve nuts...but no longer! Fairly pungent when used in one's bedroom...the ball & chain was not happy...but a small price to pay methinks. Recommended.

Purchased to get a injector out of a cylinder head and it worked great

I had a stuck transmission filler plug that had been done up overly tight by a garage gorilla, who admitted to use a copper washer to stop it binding. Whilst trying to undo the bolt its torx head started to give, rather than strip it I purchased and I applied the Comma release oil to the stuck bolt and left over night, it made no difference, so I tried several more applications, even running the vehicle for a long journey hoping heat would give it greater impact. But it really did not make that much difference and in the end I had to get a set of heavy duty extractors to free the bolt. I have used it on my wife's car door hinges and it stopped them squeaking but then so would 1 in 3 or WD40. If in the future I find an application it really work upon I will amend my review.

Works better than expected and not much needed to do the job. Never realised just how different the contents in different cans could be.

Difficult to comment on this as it did not appear to do the job. It may have helped but brute force was the main factor in this instance. I tried lots of other suggested methods non of which freed the piston.
