my daughter loves collecting calico critters so receiving this set as a birthday gift thrilled her its so cool how you can turn the knob and it make it look like the microwave is cooking the food you put inside it then turn the knob again to make it look like its done cooking the food such a cute detail

This is a wonderful little set! It included a fridge, sink, stove and oven with a few extra little spots for storage (shelves and drawers) all made of nice sturdy plastic with beautiful detail. Definitely worth the $6 I paid for it! For dishes it came with 3 cooking utensils that hang above the stove, a pot and a pan with 1 lid, 2 little casserole dishes, 4 cup-like things (2 with lids), a cutting board, and knife. For food it came with a yellow pepper, an apple, a cucumber, 6 eggs attached to a tray, a bottle of water and jug of milk with tiny stickers you apply yourself, ice cubes, and little cardboard boxes of varying sizes you assemble yourself that are already labeled: cheese, yogurt, butter, waffle cone, ice cream sandwiches, grape sherbet bar, and one that says "bake cake" that opens like a little bakery cake box. Every little door and drawer is functional and a couple random little adorable bonus are that when you take the drawer out from under the sink, you can see the little fake plumbing, and it includes stickers for the front of the fridge that include a recipe for white sauce, a shopping list, and a reminder to go to the market at 3:00 p.m.! Overall this is a beautifully made set that I think anyone over the age of 5 would find delight in. Including me, a full blown adult ;) would definitely purchase again for any child that enjoys calico critters or other similarly sized dolls.

These are very nice. The extra detail is wonderful. Comes with little stickers that look like post its for the refrigerator door.. So much personality. Well made and worth the few extra dollars versus other cheaper versions by other sellers/ manufacturers.

This is very true-to-life in its detail especially for a toy item.

The furniture itself is great as always, but I’m super disappointed about the toaster oven. When I opened the plastic bag the toaster oven was in, the piece of tape holding the bag closed just so happened to barely touch the top of the toaster oven. When I pulled the tape off a piece of pink paint came off the toaster oven with it. Apparently the paint they used to make the oven pink wasn’t sealed at all and I’m afraid it could very easily get scratched or chip off more. I’d seal it with matte spray as soon as you get it before the paint gets damaged.

I bought the dining set for my daughter to use in her (my old) Little People dollhouse. The pieces have cute details and seem well made. My daughter is 2 years old so I did not unpack the little cups, plates, etc yet. She greatly enjoys sitting her figurines at the table and making them pretend to eat. The only small downside is that the chairs are just barely wide to set the Little People on. I wish they were a but wider, but this is a great option for these figurines if you are in need of furniture for your dollhouse.

All Calico Critters products are great quality. Pricing on Amazon can be variable, products are sometimes cheaper in local stores.
