Ive had lionel and all kinds of trains. This for the price is great. Tracks genuinely work fine. People who were saying it derails itself, might need to have their floors checked. A great little train to put around your tree christmas time. Deff recommend.

Cute train, makes sounds and puffs smoke using water. Easy to put together. Worth the price.

Awesome for around the Christmas tree. Not difficult to set up. Although does come apart easily. I recommend small pieces of tape to keep track together

2yo boy. He absolutely loves the train, it’s so cute! He can be pretty rough with toys, but it’s like he instinctually knows to treat it with care, he’s gentle with it, it’s adorable! And the steam coming out of the top, and the sounds it makes, he loves it!

Updated: The company reached out regarding my concerns and are working on quality control to improve the product. I appreciate them being kind and listening to my feedback and they have resolved my issues so I change my review to 4 stars. The steam is hard to see, it’s hard to put back on the tracks correctly, and the latches for the trains to connect together broke very easily. Nevertheless my kids enjoyed it until it broke and they couldn’t enjoy it anymore

This MindPal Train Set did not meet expectations at all. The build quality feels very cheap, and the plastic parts seem fragile. The smoke feature barely works and stops after a short time, which was very disappointing. The lights and sound are also quite weak and inconsistent, reducing the overall fun for kids. The train frequently derails and struggles to run smoothly on the track. Assembly was more difficult than expected, especially for a product marketed for children and Christmas use. Considering the price, the performance and durability are not satisfactory. Overall, this train set looks appealing in pictures, but in real use it feels poorly made and not worth the money.

Train is sturdy but gave it 3 stars because it eventually falls off the track and falls off the track easily. Also doesn’t come with instructions. I had to look at the listing on Amazon to see which car takes the batteries.
