This 51mm bottomless portafilter is a great upgrade. It fits perfectly on my machine and feels solid and well-built. The stainless steel basket is high quality and allows for excellent extraction and crema. Using a bottomless portafilter helped me improve my grind size, tamping, and overall shot consistency. It’s also very easy to clean and looks great. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their espresso setup and technique.

Not sure what some of the bad reviews are about with regards to this portafilter and the CASABREWS 5418 PRO. I dialed it in with a fine grind for espresso and 18g and got an amazing espresso with nice crema. The handle feels great and fits perfectly with the machine. Would highly recommend!

My Delonghi espresso machine only came with a high pressure portafilter and the results in flavor from that to this Cassabrew is night and day. What a huge difference in flavor and the amount of the crema is amazing. Not cast aluminum lightweight and cheap but stainless steel with a filter screen on top of grounds for easier cleanup and quality of coffee.

Perfectly fit my Casabrews CM5418. It’s weighty and has a nice feel to it. I love that the pieces come apart for thorough cleaning and that there is no rubber or silicone in the portafilter.

This product performed exceptionally well and is fully compatible with my Casabrews CM5418 Pro. I am very pleased with this acquisition, especially since it is more affordable than the options provided by Casabrews. I highly recommend it.

First of all, it fits my Capresso EC50, better than the stock portafilter, even. So that's a major plus. However, and maybe this is my machine's fault, it drips out quite a bit after I cut the pump. I suspect this may have to do with the possibility that I'm not dosing high enough. However, this is due to some major inconsistency in the listing and product information. Once in the listing it says the basket holds 18g. Fantastic, right? But in another section it says the recommended dose is 14-15g. The booklet that comes with the portafilter also says 14g. But, you know, I'm really not sure which one it is.

I’m still learning how to make a good cup of espresso. But this feels premium, there’s a good weight to it, but not too heavy. It fits the casabrews 5418 perfectly. I love the wood handle as opposed to the stock black one. Additionally this comes with a small guide with many q/a’s about how to improve your shots, as well as some coffee bean brand recommendations. Which I very much appreciate, being new to espressos.

Fits totally fine on my casabrew. Got a great shot on first try. If you're not getting crema, use fresh roasted beans from a company like Atlas Coffee Co. or any other company that sells freshly roasted. If that doesn't work your problem is the grinder. Buy a grinder that can grind more finely like a Shardor 64mm or a good espresso hand grinder.

This worked for my casabrew5418. At first it was spraying everywhere and I found when I got a good quality grinder it changed everything and it doesn’t spray anymore

It doesn’t work as described. Doesn’t make creamy coffee. I tried everything. It seems there something with the pressure that should be created before the coffee brews. Too bad.

It is a good item, but the wooden handle tends to loosen up from the metal part, which is not good.

The portafilter seems okay but does not fit the Casabrews CM5418 as described.
