It bolted to the frame in the pre existing Lexus factory mounting points. I removed the rear exhaust/muffler to make the job a lot easier. The instructions will tell you to remove the exhaust from the hangers and slide it out of the way. But, if you have a F Sport, the exhaust tips will get stuck in the exit ports in the F Sport bumper. You can remove the exit ports from the bumper so the exhaust drops out of the way, but removing the rear section of the muffler is quicker and easier IMO. I started to take the bumper apart and quickly realized it’s way easier to completely remove the rear exhaust. The muffler is only 2 bolts and 3 hangers compared to 8 screws and 8 clips in the bumper, and you still have to remove the hangers anyway. It’s a pretty basic procedure to remove the rear exhaust, but if you’re not mechanically inclined, you may not want to attempt it. Overall, If you do your own oil changes, you can install this receiver. Good instructions for install. Good fitment on the vehicle. All required hardware included for installation.For the NX200t you can install without a lift if you can fit under the vehicle OK. The hard part is removing the three rubber muffler bracket mounts. Pull the rubber mounts off first.
