I wanted a smaller size stainless steel drink container that would keep things hot or cold. This fit the bill perfectly. It’s easy to pack in my lunch bag and it’s leak proof.

I love this thermos; it keeps the water nice and hot. My daughter uses it to take tea to school, and it works very well for her.

First things first, 17 oz is without the lid on, and filled to the brim. I believe that filled until you can safely screw on the lid, it holds just about 15 oz. This is the reason I'm only giving it a 4 star. That being said, it works really well to keep the hot beverages hot and the cold cold. It even keeps the hot beverages hot with the lid off. Usually if I accidentally leave the lid off of something, the liquid usually cools rather quickly. I have, on multiple occasions, left the lid off this for hours, and the coffee or other hot beverages have remained close to brewing temperatures. That being said, be sure when washing this to be diligent in rinsing the detergent after washing, since I've noticed it does seem to retain the soap taste if you don't thoroughly rinse (like rinse out your bottle washer and scrub it with clear water kind of rinse).

Well, I was really excited about replacing my old thermos's with these beautiful new one. Especially after reading that they would keep my coffee hot for 12 hours. It did not meet my expectations. I fill them with hot coffee at 6am. By 11am my coffee is lukewarm. Now, I bought these because the info on these says that hot beverages stay hot for 12 hours. I also tried filling these with boiling water and letting them sit for 5 minutes, then emptying them and refilling with my fresh brewed coffee. This did not work either. I'm very disappointed. There claim of 12 hours is misleading at best an I feel is outright lie. Don't waste your time with this product. I gave these 1 star because they hold my coffee.

Absolutely 200% better than expected. Not paid for review. If you are a tea drinker buy this. I promise you will not be let down. Hot stays hot. Cold stays cold. Quality at this price. I bought 4 more.
