Scent not as advertised
This does not smell like Hinoki or yuzu. I lived in Japan for a while and was hoping to re-create the onsen experience at home with this product. It didn’t happen… maybe the oils had turned in the batch I got- there wasn’t an expiration date on it to know.

Makes bath time very pleasant and comforting
We have a number of Bathorium products, and this one is my wife's favorite. She uses it a lot and really likes it. It smells great and leaves her skin nice and soft and comforted. A very nice quality product. The hinoki has a lovely, wood/pine sort of an aroma to it. It's a great product, and makes bath time very pleasant and comforting.

Nice, relaxing fragrance
Bath salts are a must-have in my house with two active kidults. These are in the category of "products I'm going to keep to myself so they don't use them all." They really don't care that much about fragrance, but for me it's a big part of the relaxation. Also, they use too dang much at a time. With my more conservative approach, I was definitely able to get three baths out of the bag.

This is so good!
The Bathrorium Hinoki Mineral Magnesium Chloride bath flakes are so good! This is my first time using bath flakes (usually, I just use the standard salt) so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am a bit surprised at the amount that is recommended to be used per soak but it's meant to be used for an entire body soak, so that makes sense. I read the directions to make sure to be hydrated and to drink cold water which I did. I felt that helped keep me relaxed in the tub. Like the other review, I also used about half the bag--it was my first time so I definitely wanted to have some fun! For those that don't want a whole body soak, I believe this would also be good for those foot soak machines. The flakes melt really easily so you won't be stuck there waiting for the salt crystals to dissolve. So far, I had a good time, and it also left a very nice aroma to relax in!

Not really noteworthy.
I use salts and soaks almost daily, and have never had one be as expensive as it is unimpressive. The citrus scent is gentle, but not particularly pleasant. It's has almost a chemical profile to it. I do like the size of the salt crystals, as it is nice to see them dissolve and feel like it's making for a luxurious in home spa treatment, but I really feel like it's more of a visual experience than anything. You'll go through this bag quickly. Maybe 3 or 4 uses if you're light with your scoops. For this price, that's insane. The same sized bags for less than ten dollars at your local shop will perform just as well. The physical effect is not, in my opinion, any different from just a normal bath. Maybe I'm just not sensitive enough to the ingredients. Or it's just fancy packaging with a placebo sort of interaction. Either way, save your money and get yourself something that at least smells better.

Nice But Expensive Bath Salts
I guess if you want to soak in "luxury" bath salts, this might be the product for you. If you go light on the bath salts you might get 4 soaks out of this. If you tend to go on the heavier side, it will be more like two. I put these in the bath and let them dissolve before I got in and that worked well. I'd call the scent a bit citrus. It was pleasant but not overpowering and a bit relaxing. The bath salts dissolved well. Compared to many other bath salts, these seem REALLY expensive. Maybe if you are a connoisseur of bath salts you could tell the difference between these bath salts and something that is a fraction of the price. for the most part I can't tell. These are nice but I can't justify the price to order it again,

I’ve tried out many different kinds of bath salts at a wide range of prices. This one is on the higher-end of that range, so I expected a luxurious and indulgent bath experience. Perhaps I set my expectations too high, but I found these salts to be a bit underwhelming. I really enjoy the smell of ginger, and these bath flakes capture that scent quite well. While the ginger fragrance is definitely present, the combination of ingredients also produces a citrusy scent—very similar to lemon essential oil or powdered lemonade mix. It’s not terrible, but it’s not my ideal scent for a bath. I added one cup of bath salts, but the scent wasn’t as strong as I expected. The smell also seemed to dissipate rather quickly. The bath salts I normally use (made with various essential oils) have a stronger fragrance that lasts for the entire bath. As for relaxation, I didn’t find a noticeable difference between these salts and regular magnesium flakes. The instructions recommend using one to two cups per bath, but given that one bag only provides three baths when using one cup per bath, I didn’t want to use more than that. While it’s possible that salts were beneficial even if the effect wasn’t noticeable, I prefer a soak with immediate and apparent effects. In summary, these bath flakes fell a bit short of what I was hoping for. That’s not to say they’re of poor quality; the ingredients are top-notch and likely quite beneficial, but I can’t help comparing them to my regular high-quality bath salts, which are more potent and offer a better value for the money. That said, if you enjoy the scent of ginger and citrus and price isn’t a consideration, it may be worth giving these a try. Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful. 😊
