I received the replacement filter within a couple of days and it exceeds anything I expected. It is quiet and my fish are so much happier and active. I really appreciate the customer service provided and will definitely buy from this seller again.I want to update my previous review shown below. I was immediately contacted by the Seller responding to my review. I was very surprised by the amount of concern they showed, very sincere that a customer needed to be taken care of. After texting with them, it was decided and agreed that they will send me another filter to replace the damaged one. They offered a full refund which I did not feel was warranted since there was information in the description suggesting that we should make sure there was water in the filter to prevent damage. My power went out to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Very cute tank. I should have listened to people about the water filter system. We had a power outage during the nighttime hours when I was asleep. When the power came back on the filter didn’t prime itself so it burnt out. Very disappointed. This is not a system to use unless you constantly keep an eye on it.

It’s small and cute. It’s my nursery tank so I had to take the skimmer off before my babies came. The light is hella bright and unfortunately there is no dimming option or timer. My lid also doesn’t fit into the lid frame… it’s slightly too big or out of square. One side pops out when you get the other in. But it works for what I need it for.

Esthetically this is a beautiful tank. But functionality wise its garbage. The filters are crappy. The pump is cheap and the first one i had broke after 3 weeks. You can not just replace the filter and the strong- unadjustable light creates way too much algae overgrowth, you have to buy an entire filter pump new. No matter how much you clean it, etc its not enough. We even got ghost shrimp and they still cant keep up. After 6 months of trying to make it work, I gave up and went with a different brand. The stress the fish go through is not worth it. You cant ever get the pH right. Also, it chipped super easily, thankfully on a corner and it didnt break the seal. But still it didnt even hit against anything. Also worth noting no i didnt have the light on all the time, maybe only a few hrs in the evening and no water heater(not needed in my home)

Tank is great, light is great, pump is TERRIBLE. It broke and is only like, 6 months old. Had to scramble to get a replacement so my Ghoti wouldn’t die or get sick. Lots of stress over a cheap pump 🫤

Perfect aquarium system for your Bettas or even a tiny aquascape project. What you get for the price is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend you giving these a chance.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great tank!! We tried another tank off Amazon & were very disappointed, but this one has exceeded expectations!! We have 2 Blue Velvet (1 male, 1 female) shrimp and a black Nerite snail. The female shrimp has eggs that she has been carrying so we hope to have some babies soon. This is definitely the best bang for your buck on Amazon for a small tank. It's quite & the light is really bright (we only keep it on for 12hrs or so daily). One thing is some other reviews talked about the lid and it falling in, so we used some small pieces of clear packing tape to hold it on to prevent oir cats or us knocking it in. Also, you don't have to use the surface skimmer/rotator thing, the filter comes with an extension so you can skip it & that's what we did to prevent any of our shrimp from getting into the small hole at the top of it.UPDATE:Mama shrimp laid her eggs and we have shrimp babies!! So the shrimp definitely love the tank!! We also added live salvinia for the surface and a live anubias nana petite.

Edited review: the supplier reached out to me upon hearing that I was sent out a return item with missing parts and sent me a brand new aquarium. I'm happy to report "Snow" my betta fish is very happy in his new home. Great customer service and would highly recommend this aquarium to others
