Tikta Ghrita Bitter Ghee (Herbal medicated ghee) ~ Premium potency herb in a natural, fresh ghee base ~ Made in the USA every week

At first this supplement was very bitter, now I am almost addicted to it. It is a good liver supplement and every time I pass the jar in the kitchen I consume a teaspoon tip of it.

This is the second time I've purchased this product, and this brand, and I'm not sure what has changed but this one is much much lighter than the one I bought the last time. This ghee is closer to the color of horseradish where as the last time it was yellow. Can anyone advise on what this means for the quality of the product? It seems to taste less bitter, but I'm not sure if I'm overthinking it. Happy to update my rating if this is a normal thing, but the pictures and my last purchase seem to be more in line than this one.

I ordered three jars over the course of three months. Every single jar was a different variation of recipe. Not at all consistent. The first jar was just straight yellow ghee. Not bitter and not even medicated. The second was medicated, bitter yellow ghee. As expected and as it should have been the first time. The third was rancid, whitish grey and tasted very wrong like something was very bad about it. Like if you used and reused ghee for frying food and kept reusing it again and again until it was bad. I had to spit it out and get a refund from Amazon. Each time the company took way too long to ship it also. Over a week each time. I would never purchase anything from this company again.

This was a very good product. I was satisfied with it.
