Worth it for Build & Picture Quality!
I love these displays. After much research I determined these HP Z32 displays were a great value for the money. It took a lot of reading to eliminate the competitors. However, my research paid off. The Thunderbolt 3 support it wonderful. The bezels are tiny. The picture is very bright and clear and the colors are rich. Next to my MacBook Pro the desktop images appear identically, which I love! On top of this the enclosure and stand are very sturdy. The stand is solid metal and heavy! These are the nicest displays I've every purchased. For comparison, a couple years ago I purchased three Samsung UH750 32" 4K displays. They've been good displays, but I was disappointed in both the brightness and the overall build quality. Next to my MacBook pro display the Samsung displays color was bleak looking (neither bright nor saturated). The cheap plastic Samsung display enclosures and stands also left a lot to be desired. One of the displays even fell off the stand while I was attempting to make some adjustments. The screen broke. Disappointing, but also my fault. The HP Z32 displays are in a different league for quality and in my opinion worth every extra pennyโabout $200 more per display. For the UI/UX design work I do these are a much better tool for the job.

Updated Review - Minimal User Manual Contributed To Customer Sending Original Purchase Back
I'll have to update the review - after I receive the replacement for the original order. Unfortunately, the HP Z32 I received was DOA - Dead on Arrival. The monitor wouldn't power-on ! In speaking with the Aventis Systems customer support - it was decided to return the monitor via the Amazon return directions (via UPS to the vendor). However, the return Amazon shipping label had an error in the weight of the item - 1 pound instead of 34 pounds. Rather than the hassle of going back to Amazon for a corrected weight on the label, I decided to pay the $ 61.88 shipping charge to expedite the return. I plan to reorder the HP Z321 after my Amazon account is properly credited for the original purchase. I'm assuming that I'll not experience something similar on the reorder. This is the first time I've ever experienced a problem with an HP product ! UPDATE: I've now had the 2nd Z Display 31.5" in use for going on 6 months. The initially shipped monitor was probably OK - but the ON/OFF of the monitor appears defective unless the monitor in connected to a computer - not trying this left the impression that the initial monitor was defective. Nothing in the user manual that suggests a solution. The tech at Aventis Systems pointed this out in a phone call . I must assume that the initial monitor was OK. Love the ULTRA HD screen resolution of this monitor - works well with DaVinci Resolve 15/16.

USB-C driver problems
Constantly loses the connection when connected to my Windows 10 Thinkpad T480s. Installed every available update for BIOS, display driver, thunderbolt, etc, but still having problems. One time the connection loss caused my laptop to crash. Have switched to the HDMI input and have had no problems since, but no HDMI cable was included in the box - I'll have to buy an extra since I stole this one from the DVD player. Picture and build quality are great.

Incredible monitor, built like a tank with USB-C, perfect color and sharpness
After searching through less-expensive 4K monitors, I came to the conclusion that this monitor was one of the few under $1000 that offered all the features I was looking for. Sharpness is excellent on my 2018 Mac mini, and while at 31.5" the text is a little small at 3840x2160 resolution, I can read text quite well. Buying a smaller 27" monitor would have been a mistake. I'm also getting extremely accurate display from Photoshop and some reference ProRes422 documents.

Terrible light bleeding after one year
After less than a year of usage, terrible light bleeding appeared in all corners and on the sides. Attached is a picture of one, but all other corners look thevsame. Not a quality I'd expect.

27 or 32? I have my answer!
After reading many online reviews and watching Youtube videos, I had finally settled for a 27inch LG monitor (27UK850-W). But I always had this dilemma if a 32 inch would be a better size for my COVID inflicted work from home arrangements and occasional Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop edits for photos from my 61 mega pixel Sony mirrorless monster. I was looking for a monitor that was IPS based, had thin bezels with preferably no ugly logos, provided USB-C support for my Macbook to not only display but also for charging, and had decent reviews on Amazon. After scrolling through many >$1K displays I somehow encountered the HP Z32 model. The online reviews were sparse, HP's. marketing efforts were definitely not spectacular, but boy - the display speaks for itself and has found a permanent position on my desk. The display is large (but not too large), bright, and the screen is beautiful. I'd highly recommend.

Beautiful image
It did take me a while to find right connection to my Dell XPS13, maybe 30 minutes. But it is now super reliable. No missing pixels, color is excellent, true 4K. Excellent monitor.

Solid Monitor, love the USB-C connectivity
Heavy and solid monitor with reasonable color presentation. You will love this product if you have a MacBook, as you don't need to worry about using a converter. The USB-C in the back of the monitor can be used to carry video signal and charge the MacBook at the same time. All a sudden, I just need to use one cable, including power supplier. Also the tilt and height adjustment is handy. Only thing is it took me a few mins to find out how to adjust the height of the screen. Maybe it's just me though.
