Pressure feeling on back of head - edit - gone and it is good
This seems like a great device with a built in battery as well. However, right from the start, I'm feeling a lot of pressure on the back of the head near the base where it makes contact. Seems like all pressure from face is transferred there. Hopefully there's an adjustment setting else I won't be able to use this and hopefully can return it. The built in battery is nice for 3+ hours claimed but haven't been able to validate. Also, when you put the unit away, it continues to supply power to the MetaQuest3 which consumes battery and I can see the green light is on on the unit. Maybe an on/off manual switch would have helped better. It seems useful and easily puts on and off and has a few adjustment angles but the pressure issue remains. The strap feels nice and the weight does not seem a lot when I hold it so it is good. However, I'm not yet sold on it. Will update review in case I find a solution. Edit - it has been a year later and I figured out the issue. I just adjusted some knobs and such and the pressure is gone from the back of the head and the pressure really is on the strap along the top of the head so you don't feel it. There's little pressure on the face so it is not like zero pressure but you want that for active sports gaming so your headset does not flop about. I've found the dials and stretchy features really help make this product great so after a year of using it I'm raising it to 5 stars. I did find that the charging can be sometimes ignored by it now after a year of like 4-5 times a week use for about 1h/day use? Maybe battery issue? But seems to charge and supply charge to the Meta Quest 3.

Solid Upgrade — Lightweight, Comfortable, and Extra Playtime
Solid Upgrade — Lightweight, Comfortable, and Extra Playtime If you’re looking to take your Meta Quest 3 setup to the next level, this headset with a built-in battery is a strong choice. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really happy with it — especially when it comes to comfort, freedom of movement, and cutting the cord (literally). Let’s start with the best part: the built-in battery. Being able to charge the Quest while I play without being tethered to the wall is a total game changer. I used to hate being locked in one spot or worrying about tripping over a cord when things got intense. With this headset, I can move freely, spin around, duck, dodge, whatever the game throws at me — all without dragging a wire behind me. It really does make a big difference in immersion and convenience. The headset itself is surprisingly lightweight. I was worried that the added battery would make it top-heavy or uncomfortable, but it fits well and stays secure. Even during more active games where I’m moving a lot, it doesn’t slip or shift. I forget I even have it on sometimes, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give in terms of comfort. As for the battery life, it’s decent. It’s not as long as I had hoped, which is why I’m giving it four stars instead of five. That said, it still extends my play sessions by a good margin, and just having that buffer between full Quest battery and plugging into a wall makes a noticeable difference. It’s perfect for those longer sessions when you’re right in the middle of a game and don’t want to break the flow. Bottom line: if you’re tired of dealing with cords and want something that adds both comfort and convenience to your VR experience, this headset is worth picking up. The battery might not last forever, but the freedom it gives you while playing is absolutely worth it. I wouldn’t go back to the standard strap after this.

Comfortable, Well-Thought-Out Battery Head Strap That Makes Long VR Sessions Easier
This KIWI design H4 Boost Comfort battery head strap has been a noticeable upgrade for my Meta Quest 3 use. If you’ve ever felt the stock strap get uncomfortable or pulled forward during longer sessions, this accessory tackles that issue head-on and adds real value with the integrated battery. The first thing you feel is the comfort improvement. The halo-style design redistributes weight away from the face and forehead and shifts a lot of it toward the back of your head. That reduces facial pressure in a way that’s immediately noticeable compared to the standard strap. For play sessions longer than 30–45 minutes, that added comfort makes a difference — especially with more active or standing games. Build quality feels solid. The materials don’t feel cheap or rattly, and the padding is thick enough to stay comfortable without being bulky or overly warm. The adjustment mechanisms are intuitive, and once you find a fit that works for you, it stays put. It’s clear this wasn’t just thrown together; the design feels intentional and well executed. The battery integration is another strong point. It adds significant extra playtime — I was able to stretch sessions well past what the Quest 3 alone gives me — and it charges relatively quickly, finishing up in about 2.5 hours as advertised. That’s convenient if you want a near overnight charge cycle without fuss. The dual-fast-charge design helps keep downtime minimal, which is exactly what you want when you’re in the middle of something. Installation was straightforward and didn’t feel like wrestling with parts. You clip the Quest into the strap, adjust, and go. Once it’s on, the headset feels balanced and doesn’t pull forward or dig in, which makes a surprisingly big difference in comfort and immersion. I also like that it doesn’t interfere with the headset’s fit or sensors, so everything works just as it should. One thing to note is that this is specifically designed for Quest 3/3S. It’s not compatible with Quest 2, so make sure you’re pairing it with the right headset. Overall, this strap delivers exactly what most people are looking for when they want more comfort and battery life from a VR headset. It’s comfortable, well made, and adds genuine usability to longer sessions. If you use your Quest regularly and want a better fit plus extra playtime, this is an easy five-star accessory.

Excellent Comfort and Extended Playtime
The KIWI design H4 Boost Comfort Battery has made a noticeable difference in my VR experience. It not only extends the battery life significantly, allowing for longer play sessions, but it also improves comfort by helping to balance the weight of the headset. The build quality feels solid and premium. It’s easy to attach and remove, and it charges efficiently. I really like that the battery integrates well with the head strap and doesn’t feel bulky or get in the way during gameplay. This is a must-have accessory for anyone looking to enhance both comfort and battery life on their VR headset. Highly recommended!

Good item
Massive upgrade over the stock strap. Way more comfortable, especially for longer sessions—takes pressure off your face and balances the headset better. The built-in battery is clutch, and the fast charging actually delivers like it says. Feels sturdy and well-designed, not cheap or flimsy. If you’re serious about VR, this is one of those upgrades you’ll wish you bought sooner.

Update: I got my money back :\
Update 2: KIWI offered to replace it - but I feel like it will just break again, so I accepted a refund. Added 2 stars. Original 1 star review and updates below. --- Update: Not only did it break my Quest 3 ($140 repair) the head strap itself is now broken. I bought this on February 15th, and started using it the night of the 16th. By the 20th, it had broken the attachment point on my Quest 3. Today (March 11th) the H4 Boost itself cracked as I pulled it down over my head. My original review follows, but I've added 3 additional pictures. --- I'm having a hard time getting a clean picture of what this thing did to my Quest 3 in under one week of use. I got it on Monday. It broke my Quest 3 on Friday! There is a black plastic "tongue" at the front of the H4 Boost with a metal lip at the bottom that slots in around the bar at the front of the headset that the factory strap loops over. Let me repeat that - the factory strap attaches here via a FABRIC loop. Someone at KIWI thought it was a good idea to use a hard plastic tongue that is FAR too short with a metal clip that is an order of magnitude stronger than the point it attaches to on the headset. i.e. Tug on this just the right way, and the point of failure is now the HEADSET ITSELF. You WILL break your Quest 3. And you WILL be tugging on your Quest 3 a lot, because this thing does an absolutely terrible job of holding itself onto your head. There are no fewer than 4 different points of articulation, none of which seem to hold themselves in place properly. It is a nightmare to adjust and get "stable" on your head, no matter how much you try and tighten it or set it straight, as soon as you move, it will shift on your head. I normally never look at one-star reviews for items because I chalk them up to user error or shipping damage. My mistake. There is a review from a user called "LigerXT5" here on Amazon from August 7th 2025 describing the exact same failure. And there are other one star reviews showing the H4 itself cracking exactly as mine did.

Pretty good but with a flaw
Works well as a halo strap but it's impossible to use without the facial interface. The headset will just flop in front of your face without an interface as the hinge doesn't have the strength to hold it in place by itself.
