I've only had these shears for a short time, but my first impression is really good. The first thing I noticed was the weight. They have a nice solid feel in your hand and don't feel flimsy at all. They feel like a quality tool the moment you pick them up. The handles are comfortable and fit my hand well. They open and close smoothly, and they don't feel awkward or uncomfortable to use. Right out of the box they're extremely sharp. They cut cleanly without feeling like you have to force them through whatever you're cutting. What impressed me the most is how balanced they feel. They're not blade-heavy or handle-heavy—they just feel right. That balance, combined with the solid weight, makes them feel very controlled and easy to use. As far as performance goes, they've done everything I've asked of them so far. I have no doubt they'll be great for trimming meat, cutting up chicken, snipping herbs, or opening food packages. They just feel like they were built to be used. I obviously can't speak about long-term durability yet, but based on the thick blades, sturdy pivot, and the fact that they even included replacement springs, they seem like they're built to last. I'll hand wash them with soap and water, dry them right away, and I think they'll hold up just fine. For the money, I'm honestly impressed. They feel like a much more expensive pair of kitchen shears. If they hold up as well as they feel, I think they're going to be one of the best values in my kitchen

Great meat scissors Very well made feels strong, cleans easy, MAKES SHORT ORDER OF CUTTING up bacon and other things even veggies I'm Very pleased with the scissors I have small hands and am still able to use them I also like that hey have lock where I can reach with my thumb they are spring loaded so it is easy to use If and when I'd ever need another pair I would buy the meat scissors again They were not expensive as far as I'm concerned They are very sharp you cc an look at these scissors and see the quality and how well they are made

I bought the MAD SHARK heavy-duty poultry shears to prep a turkey, and they worked flawlessly. They’re sharp right out of the box, and the blades cut through the spine with no hesitation. I didn’t have to force anything or saw back and forth—the shears handled the job cleanly, which says a lot considering how tough turkey bones can be. For anyone who spatchcocks their turkey or chicken, these make the process a lot easier. The spring-loaded design helps a ton during longer cuts since you’re not constantly fighting against the blades. It gives a smoother, more controlled motion that feels steady and reduces hand fatigue. The non-slip handle also makes a difference when things get a little messy in the kitchen. Even with wet hands, the grip stayed secure. The safety lock is a nice touch, especially for storage. It keeps the blades closed tightly so they’re not sitting open in a drawer. After finishing the turkey, I tossed them in the dishwasher, and they came out looking brand new. The fact that they’re dishwasher safe makes cleanup simple, especially after working with raw poultry. Overall, five stars without question. Sharp, sturdy, comfortable to use, and they handled the turkey spine with zero issues. A great tool to have in the kitchen for poultry, meats, and general prep.

omg, the value for the money you spend for these is incredible. these things cut the thinnest of plastic. they feel heavy duty in the hand. they have a safety switch on them which as sharp as they are, i believe is needed. they are comfortable in the hand, although they are large. i love them and am glad i bought them. much better than the cheap ones that are sent with knife sets.

These scissors appear to be well made and are very sharp and sturdy. Time will tell how long the spring will last which is the thing that always breaks first. I'm not sure if providing 2 extra springs is a good or bad sign, does that mean it breaks more often or is it a courtesy? I'm going to knock off a star because there aren't any instructions for changing the spring. It probably isn't that hard to figure out but come on you made the effort to put a quality certificate in why not a few directions. Also the handle spread is WIDE so I would definitely not recommend these for someone who has weak or small hands.

These are the finest kitchen shears I have tried. I needed a sharp and strong set of shears to spatchcock chicken. These do the job perfectly and with minimal effort.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves to cook (very passionate about cooking) and she is VERY PARTICULAR about the items/tools that reside in her territory (lol). I asked her about these MAD SHARK Poultry Shears after using these a several time now, and I’m pleased to report that she loves these Shears and says they cut thru the chicken/bones “like butter”! She’s thanked me every time she’s used them and tells me how much she appreciates these. This puts a smile on my face. If she wasn’t impressed, believe me, she’d tell me. I admit that I was worried because I was thinking a good pair of this type of heavy duty shears would be much more expensive. I was actually thinking this could be an item that was getting returned. I’m not gonna lie, they’re pretty cool looking to me as well and I’m thinking of getting myself a pair. I’m sure I could find something to use them for (I’m not much of a chef though). Based on the fact that my wife raves about them, both of us recommend these MAD SHARK Heavy Duty Poultry Shears. Apparently I did good 😅

Bad Product Waste of money. Rubbish only to fleece people. Did not achieve the purpose for poultry at all. Had already got rid of wrapper n tags by mistake so cannot return. Very very disappointed with this rubbish. Does not achieve purpose with poultry at all.

Letztes Jahr zu Weihnachten war bedauerlicherweise unsere Geflügelschere unauffindbar. Da sie sich bis heute nicht wieder angefunden hat, habe ich wohl oder übel eine neue kaufen müssen. Die Wahl fiel aufgrund der guten Bewertungen auf diese Schere. Bisher nur ein Mal benutzt, aber sie macht einen guten Job. Wer schon mal versucht hat ein rohes Hänchen nur mit einem scharfen Messer zu zerteilen, weiß wie schwer das geht. Mit der Geflügelschere geht es dagegen Kinderleicht. Die Schere kam pünktlich und gut verpackt bei uns an. Sie wird in einer schwarzen Box geliefert, worin man die Schere, sofern man das will, gut aufbewahren kann. Ist insofern praktisch, da man die zwei mitgelieferten Ersatzfedern hier auch mit aufbewahren kann und nicht Gefahr läuft, diese in der Tiefe der Küchenschubladen zu verlieren. Die Schere ist sehr scharf und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Griffe sind komplett aus Metall. Dies war mir sehr wichtig, da ich schon mit Scheren, deren Griffe aus Kunststoff sind, insofern schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe, da diese sich mit der Zeit von der Schere gelöst haben, oder auch gebrochen sind. Bei dieser Schere wird das nicht der Fall sein. Sie soll Geschirrspüler geeignet sein. Ich habe sie und werde es wohl weiterhin tun, lieber mit der Hand abgewaschen, um die Schärfe der Schere beizubehalten. Wir sind jedenfalls bisher zufrieden und können den Kauf dieser Schere empfehlen.
