I used this to connect a sink in our laundry room. Worked fine, been there for about a year now. Simple easy product to use.

The first one leaked at the downspout area... couldn't get a proper seal. Even tried to reverse it and no good. Swapped it with a replacement and it's a solid connection now. Should last a long long time and happy with the purchase...

Idont write much reviews but this needed one....I tried to do plumbing myself went to hardware store and was shown like a 100 ways how to vent my kitchen system...after spending about $200 in parts, and lots leaks about to give up and call a plumber....this thing came in clutch...it's the second time I bought this item...the first one didn't fail I was just replacing everything instead of cleaning it out....this was adjustable very easily to my liking and my kitchen sink hasn't leaked a drop for the first time in 20 years....don't know how others feel about it, but my problems was solved in 5 minutes after failing to install the other kits sold by hardware stores...maybe plumbers will laugh at me for getting this but hey as long as it gets the job donez on to the next one...

The pipe lacks sufficient length to form a proper U-bend, and the plastic material is too soft to maintain structural integrity under compression. When manually tightened, it deforms and slips, preventing an effective seal.

This was a lifesaver and solved a BIG issue in my apartment, incredible buy and exactly as described and viewed. The only problem I had recently is the year I had it, it was fine, the hose itself is great its very flexible, first problem I woke up to my bathroom flooded to have been revealed that the connector is apparently a cheap plastic that didn't last that long, it cracked at the top that holds the hoses together in place, which I was lucky I have a friend that had an extra Connector so it was able to pop off with some force and applied a new one on and resealed the connectors and seems to work fine again, just keep in mind, if you go to this hose, keep extra Screw Connectors on the side so when they crack you have spares at hand to fix. I would have given it all stars till the screw connector cracked. The new connector is better and has two outer end pieces so its easier to screw tighter. So now it deserves a three star rating

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this product. I have been remodeling my house on my own and, as you can imagine, i’ve run into problems more than things that have worked smoothly. That is especially true with the new guest bathroom vanity. Aside from the fact that the supply lines were completely wrong, replacement parts not available and the supply valves weren’t compatible (all which stumped the experts at Home Depot, Lowe’s and ACE hardware) the placement of the vanity was not the same as the one I had removed making the plumbing impossible to fit. I had resolved myself to calling a plumber but decided to see if there was a kit on amazon I could try. I ran across this product and decided that, for less than $20.00, I would give it one last shot. The pipe was delivered the next day and within 5 minutes I had a working sink!! This is the easiest thing to use EVER! I don’t know if I would use it for anything other than a bathroom sink (it may not be robust enough to handle a kitchen sink) for my use,it is absolutely brilliant!! I did need to add the 1 1/2 inch to 1 1/4inch reducing piece but you can get those at ACE or on amazon for $2.99. If you don’t know if you need one or not...get one anyway, they are cheap!

I had a very unique situation to use this where the P-Trap already existed, but I needed to reach the top of the sink drain screw top, and I have a SaniShower pump drain using the same P-trap, so there can be pressurized shower waste water blasting in the drain pipe that can force some of the water up the sink drain. So with a sharp downward slop from my sink/tub with this flex pipe, and all its ribbing, it stops the SaniShower pump water from coming back up into the laundry tub. Awesome, solved the problem. The Tub drain was also very off set from the P-Trap screw cap and the height of the tub drain bottom also had to be adjusted up to give enough downward slope for this flex pipe. I removed the old stand pipe, and screwed directly onto the tub drain bottom. Worked out perfectly. Easy to use, no tools, no Teflon tape, hand tight, no sealant, just the provided seal ring, worked perfect. It is a bit light weight, or flimsy looking, but if it gets a crack or hole, I use black pure rubber plumbers repair tape or GOOP to fix it, until I can get a replacement item, that is cheap, and takes 60 seconds to install. Too easy.

Really bad quality, the hose tie thing is too flimsy to hold it up in a u shape and it’s just a waste of money.

Good product

Sturdy and reliable. However, the price feels a bit steep for just a mounting plate.
