Jump Starter (P-ONE)

Handy machine to have, this time of the year.

I bought this for a classic car that’s rarely used however just 2 weeks after buying it my family car decided that it was time for the battery to die. Fortunately I had this Powrun Starter. I clipped it on the car battery terminals and turned my key and hey presto my car started first time. I didn’t have the time to go to the garage to change the battery and once I finished work the battery was flat again but this time it was completely dead! No lights - nothing! So I clipped my Powrun on and pressed a boost button on the adapter leads and once again the car started first time. I’ve been busy at work all week and have had to use this at least twice a day - it’s so easy to use and the added benefits like the torch and USB phone chargers are a added bonus although I’ve not used those yet.

Quality feel a out this charger. Had tried before with a different product but it went flat within 10 days and wouldn't hold a charge. My POWRUN PONE is still at 100% after a month. Haven't used it in earnest yet but very pleased so far.

I am happy with compact design. This was a gift and was so happy with the speedy delivery turnaround. Arrived in good condition and securely packed.

Works really well, have used a few times now and only charged once. It started a car with a completely flat battery 4 times so far and still has charge. Very impressed

Way better than it's price tag suggests

This is an amazing product! It is small and lightweight but still powerful enough to start my car with a completely dead battery. So easy to use. I am a 68 year old woman who is not strong or fit. I found this easy to use with no effort. It is compact with a carry pouch so it is convenient to take with you. Recharging is easy, just plug into a USB port. It has a light and a small compass as part of the charger. You can even use it to recharge your cell phone.

This thing is totally worth the money. Not only for jumping your car but it's saved me for charging devices when I'm on the go cause I've ran out of power points. I saw some reviews about people complaining they bought it and tried to use it a year later and it didn't work but like I imagining leaving it in a car year around through heat and cold wouldn't be good for any lithium ion battery but I use mine so much for my hoopty car, devices, and saving other people I bring it in frequently to charge it. 4 months later and it's still works great. I even just now used it to jump a 1992 24volt dodge Cummins diesel. Sucker fired right up and only dropped the supply 6%. The emergency lights and flashlight are great too if you can't get back on the road you can let people know you need help.

I've waited to review this item, purchased Nov. 2024, until using it a number of times in all the different modes. First, as a car/light truck battery booster: I've used this thing 3 times; twice on dead battery's and once on a weak failing battery. All three times it hard cranked and started the vehicles as advertised. All three were during below freezing weather. Second, fast charging our smartphones during a prolonged power outage. Fully charged 4 devices and still showed 93% remaining charge. Third, I let this sit for 2 months (fully charged) in its case on a shelf in the garage. The weather is starting to cool here and I thought I'd throw it on the charger to make sure it was ready for action. It was still at 100% charged! For the money, this is probably the best value I've ever found on Amazon to date. Everything you need (charger, high current battery clamps, etc.) are all neatly stored in a hard-shell case along with the charger pack. Highest recommendation from here in the midwest US!

My 10 year old Mazda CX-5 (4 cylinder) sat for a week in temperatures well below freezing. It just barely did anything when I tried to start it. I ordered this starter and my car started right up. It's easy to use and lightweight. I don't know why anyone would get old style jumper cables, this is 100 times easier.

This can Jump-Start my small SUVs easily (both Ford Escapes - 2010 & 2014 models). That is not an issue. I am very experienced in the matter. All Five Stars there. It holds the Charge for many months. Once fully charged, it can remain 100% after a month easily, or even much more than that perhaps. That way it is very good. However, please give a "Manual Power-Off Button". The Manual says that it has an "intelligent system" which shuts power off after 30-secs. That works usually. However, it can fail too. This Model used to be called "Tacklife". It had the exact same design and User Manual Content as this "PowRun". I had bought that in 2021 and it served me very well. However, that is NOT Shutting Off on its own now (it used to shut off but no longer does) . The Unit is all right otherwise but it Doesn't Shut Off. That means it will keep draining battery when not in use. It DEFEATS THE PURPOSE of carrying it around to Jump Start. You never know how much charge will be there to jump start when you really need it. If you have a Manual Power-Off Button in addition, that will prevent the issue. Please consider it. Secondly, this PowRun Model does not have a Cigarette Lighter 12V Output (which the older TackLife Model had). Please put that Cigarette Lighter 12V Output back in again. It would be great to have a 12V Supply to power other things like a 12V Tire Inflator. I am not sure why it was removed from this version of PowRun. That was a wrong move by the designers and has made this model deficient in some ways. The "Compass" is practically useless. Who needs a Compass in a Jump Starter? You can use that space for a Manual Switch-Off Button. Otherwise "functionally" the PowRun is very good. You should be able to Jump Start your SUV and smaller cars easily. I have done it many times with both the older version named "TackLife" and this "PowRun". It is a very good thing to have all the time in your Trunk, as long as you keep it fully charged. You will feel lucky if you need a Jump Start and have this with you. ******* IMPORTANT UPDATE on 4th May, 2025 ******* Please Read Below: Though I had written above that my old "Tacklife" was not shutting off on its own, that problem seems to have gone away. It is shutting off on its own after 30-seconds or so. I am not sure what happened last time and why I had experienced the problem at that time. So, I am correcting my previous review above myself, so as not to mislead future buyers. The rest of my review above remains the same. I would still like to have a "12V DC Outlet" with the old "Cigarette Lighter" type of socket attachment included. It becomes very handy to draw power from this device, to run a Portable Tire Inflator for example, or other small devices which run on 12V DC. That is a very important part missing from this model of "Powrun".
