Staining Pads, 12 Pack

I’ve been using ironlace bootlaces for over 20 years now. Way better and longer lasting then what I was buying at retail. When my boots wear out I’ll remove the ironlaces and save them to use again.

Although these are larger than what I needed, I find them easy to use and they stain well. I use water-based stains, so after I am finished with a project, I wash them for reuse. Also if I am working on a larger project and I need to take a break I simply place the pad in a Ziploc baggie and it stays ready for me to continue my project.

I use these stain pads for several different chores in the shop actually all of the steps in a hand rubbed poly finish. First the stain , applies a smooth even coat of stain. Nest several coats of wiping poly and finally two coats of paste wax. Great all around applicator!

Love these pads, decent quality and stain goes on smoothly. Price is reasonable compared to some other pads I've purchased.

Arrived on time packaged well. I like these for doing finish work, they do a better job than most brushes, and cover a lot of area quickly. If you want to save money after putting a coat of finish on something I put these in a Ziploc bag until you are ready to put the next coat on.

The good thing about these staining pads is that it eliminates major dripping when applying liquid stain, etc. versus using a rag. Love using them
