This is my second DeeRC car, and I’m again impressed with their customer service. Sadly one of the batteries would not charge out of the box. I contacted support and was sent out a replacement quickly. Upon first use, I found one of the suspension parts was missing (most likely because it was run into a tree). Support didn’t hassle me about it being wear and tear and sent out a replacement with the battery. A+ customer service The car itself is fun to drive and fast. It flips a little easier than a 1/10. Car seems pretty durable considering what my son has run it into at full speed. At full power it’ll pop wheelies which brings a smile to the kids face. The lights make it easy to see at night time.

Wow this thing is crazy fast with speeds close to 50mph with 3S Lippo battery. To unlock fast mode after you power on you must press power button(red button) 5 times every time you put a 3s battery in it. I recommend Ovonic 3S Shorty Pack with Dean Connector what I use. Very cool having lights front, rear, top, also underglow with 8 colors to choose from. You can turn lights off during day time accept light on top of body. For kids you can dial down speed on controller. 4double batteries not included. The 2 batteries it comes with are plenty fast 30mph which is ideal for jumping ramps and off road. I only use 3s for running up and down the street. Oil filled shocks are adjustable and handle well for 1/14 scale. I recommend to Dremel out battery tray like I did to fit 3s battery pack in, fits great when done. I highly recommend for kid or adult. Also I like that the roof of the shell has skid bars. Its gonna flip alot with 3s battery in it! One thing that stunk was one of the provider batteries had a dead cell and would not charge. When I called Amazon no option to get replacement battery so they credited me $21 making my total cost $80. Then I called Deerc and told them what happened and they are sending me rush delivery a replacement battery. That's great customer service. Update:Had issue with rear shock and called Deerc direct again and they are sending me out another pair. Got battery in super fast 2 days! The battery they upgraded to a 3S! Phenomenal customer service and this won't be my last rc from them!

The only reason I didn’t put five stars is because of the durability of the steering columns. They seem to break easily when hitting the curbs. The car was very very fast and my son and I loved it. I would purchase again. The case was held together by clips, so be careful not to lose the clips. The battery life was very good and lasted for 30 minutes to an hour. Very fun for my nine-year-old son. I would recommend this to kids nine years and older. I think this car functioned very very well for the price. The size of the car was perfect for the speed.

Would be a 4/5 star product if it was more expensive, but I have to be fair and give it a 5/5 star rating based on price, features, and value. ****I paid for this vehicle with my own money and am not affiliated with the brand or Amazon.**** I've wanted a smaller 1/14 scale brushless truck for awhile but didn't really know what to go with. I also wanted something relatively cheap so I can beat it around and not feel bad for doing so. With the coupon and already fairly low price I think I paid just over 90 dollars after taxes. So far so good. I put about 20 battery cycles through it so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of how it currently is. I've never purchased Deerc products before (I did purchase a pink Deerc truck for the kiddo at the same time as this one) so I was going in blind, but the reviews seemed promising. I purchased it and a couple days later it arrived. First impressions were positive, the truck itself seems sturdy enough, all metal drivetrain which is a must for brushless, adjustable suspension components, decent sized tires, etc. The controller is ok, the steering wheel has a really stiff spring but it feels OK. Throttle trigger is good and it is kind of cool how you can change the color of two separate sets of LEDs on the truck itself from the transmitter. Kind of a gimmick but I'm into it. Throttle trim is good and linear, which I appreciate. 4wd system is great and offers plenty of traction, the diffs are fantastic and smooth. The whole drive train seems good which is a huge positive point. The batteries it comes with are 7.4 volt Li-ion. Not lipos so don't expect to hit speeds of 40+ mph out of the box. Ive noticed for some reason Deerc likes to use proprietary battery packs. And they designed the battery tray specifically for them. I don't really like that for hobby cars but they include two batteries so that's good. It claims to be 3s compatible and I'll try that out here soon but I wanted to give a review of it being (mostly) stock and out-of-the-box. The included batteries do allow it to hit some pretty impressive speeds, considering it's just 2s with a fairly low amp rating. You definitely want to install the wheelie bar, it will easily pull wheelies with a fresh battery. And 4 wheel burnouts. Battery doesn't last all that long though, maybe 18 minutes. But you'll definitely have fun during those 18 minutes. Plus you get two so call it 40 minutes of play time. The steering servo is a little under powered but its adequate. I'm probably just used to other brands of servo motors so I'm a tad biased. The components seem pretty tough, at least at 2s speeds. I've crashed it into things (some on purpose, some on accident) and nothing has broken so far. Even the body shell has held up fine, which surprised me. The chassis is not metal, its very chunky plastic or nylon, but that's not really an issue. It feels more than strong enough. Not sure why but they use Phillips head screws to hold everything together, but they do the job and I guess make it easier for some people to work on? I like hex screws but maybe its more just a ritual thing for me. When you're driving it around it does feel snappy, but the short wheel base makes it very easy to flip, especially on grass. Oh and speaking of grass, with the included tires, it easily handles grass, gravel, asphalt, sand, concrete, rocky terrain, hills, and wet environments. I drove it though standing water and soaked every component and it still worked, so no complaints there. Range seems fine, I've had it over 150 feet away and it never lost connection or anything. And the control response feels immediate, no delay or dead spots. I tried putting smaller buggy tires on it to see how it was and honestly I like it so much better this way. Its almost like a rally car. So I'll probably keep it in that configuration until I get it set up to accommodate a 3s lipo cell. Even then I'll probably keep it with buggy tires. I just really like how it handles and looks with them on it compared to the monster truck tires. Would I buy this again? Maybe, if it was still on sale. But probably only then. However, for under 100 dollars delivered, I was pleasantly surprised with this little truck. I do think anyone who's starting to get into the RC vehicle hobby would genuinely enjoy this truck. Just maybe put smaller tires on it, and I really wish Deerc would stop setting up their vehicles with these proprietary batteries. Other than that, I'm starting to like this brand. Would definitely recommend.

Super fast and fun. I bought this to exercise my dogs. They absolutely love it. Even when they manage to catch it, it holds up to two German shepherds.

Purchased for my 9 year olds birthday. He loved it. Easy for him to use. He crashed it a few times right away and no damage so I think it's well made and fast! Good value!

The truck is cool, but the batterys don't charge after first use. Second charge lasted 22 hours before I unplugged it because it wasn't done. Fun as hell when it worked.

First off the little car absolutely flies. Can’t believe how quick it was. The lights are cool and can change a variety of colors. Unfortunately I only got to play with it a handful of times and the gears stripped out. Looked everywhere online and wasn’t able to find the correct replacement parts. Reached out to DEERC customer support and they are sending me 2 new differentials and a new main drive shaft. Hoping the parts fix it because it was an absolute monster while it lasted.

Great little RC car, fun durable looks good and seems to have the potential for a few upgrades. Can’t beat it for the price. I already invested in a 3S Lipo battery which increased the speed of the motor and how long you can play before needing to charge the battery. Also have other minor modifications planned. It’s given my son and I a fun hobby to bond over.Highly recommended.

Not as tough as it's fas..swift machine when speed is dialed up..and drives chilled when on the slowest speed..fun lil ride for an adult or teen. Broke my suspension after some jumps..got a replacement coming from Deerc directly. Overall a nice toy for leisure time.

My grandson loves this car he is 13yrs old and he can handle it very good

After 3 months the steering Servo stopped working. Hay thing happen. Deerc customer service was great as soon as thy found out I had a problem they contacted me and help make it right . The car is loads of fun, fast and you can order parts if needed. We'll update ordered new Servo from company they sent ones that are not compatible with the original waisted money they can't even supply the right parts!!!!!

Literally 5 minutes into driving this RC car around my neighbourhood, the suspension broke and the cable connecting the front light bar broke. I tried superglueing the suspension back together but that did not last more than another small jump from a curb. The suspension is incredibly weak and the wires connecting the light bar are super thin. As you can see from the attached photo, the RC car is still brand new. Returned for refund on the second day of ownership.
