Not only did it not blow any air out, it starts loudly shocking itself & filled my apartment with an awful burning plastic smell. Dont waste your $$$

For some unknown reason, my office is ALWAYS hot. It doesn't matter what is, or isn't, powered on at any given time - it's always a sauna. I've gotten up to 85F in my office while the rest of the upstairs is 74-76, and it's absolutely horrible. I'm in IT, and I have a lot of computers, plus gadgets, monitors and other stuff. So I imagine it's just the heat byproduct of random stuff being on all the time, but I've been suffering this summer and finally pulled the plug on one of these "swamp cooler" type A/C units. It's been running nonstop since I got it, and I absolutely love it. I'm REALLY impressed at just how little water it actually uses after running for the past 8 hours almost nonstop. I put an ice pack in there which was left to freeze over night and the water is COLDDDDD. It has dropped the temperature in my 10x12 office about 10 degrees, which has made it much more tolerable to spend 8-10 hours of my day up here. We're approaching the cooler months so I expect I won't use it as much for cooling but moreso for air circulation, but I'm sure I will be very grateful to have this around next summer, and hopefully save a bit of wear & tear on my central A/C as a result! My wife is chronically cold, and I'm always hot, so maybe we'll finally find some compromise to where I can only cool the area I need around me and she can remain comfortable. The touch functions are honestly pretty intuitive, and you just keep pressing the timer to add the # of hours cumulatively - 1 touch is 1 hour, 2 is 2 hours, 3 is 3 hours, 4 is 4 hours, 5 is 5 hours (4 + 1), 6 is 6 hours (4 + 2), it's very easy to pick up. The hour markings are 1 2 4 and 8, and combining those you can get all the way up to 15 hours, as advertised. I was also really surprised that it has a moving baffle inside to move the air side-to-side, which helps with circulation. Seriously, if you are suffering in the summer or have hotspots in your house like I do, do yourself a favor and buy this!

It was not black. It was white. So I knock a star for that. The other star is it doesn’t cool the whole room. You kinda need to be right in front of it. It was great in a pinch. Better than nothing. It was quiet. I felt like real ice worked better than the ice packs. But the functions are nice and it’s a very small portable machine

These devices that you use water and ice coolers do not work!!! Please trust me on this.

Had hoped this would actually cool the air, but in Chicago on a normal summer day, the humidity is too high for it to work. Might work in low humidity environments. I don't know. Otherwise, quiet enough for white noise to sleep with, although noisier than a $20 table fan if you want to watch TV. Wouldn't have bought it if I'd read or thought about the description more carefully. Description as an air conditioner is somewhat misleading, as even with the ice packs, it had no effect on a small room.

I ordered this to cool a bed room for my kids. It’s hot and humid.. the AC UNIT needs work and thought this would help but wasn’t worth it and ima have to return.. I don’t feel the difference from fan to AC it’s all the same the humidifier looks like it works as the vents cleaned my air in 1day the filter was getting f Dirty

Absolutely horrible. It actually makes the room hotter.

This is just a noisy fan. I regret buying it.
