Love this kindle so small and light weight screen quality is good it lasts longer in the charge the appearance is very nice and you can adjust the lettering and lighting of the screen from white to black love my kindle! worth the money.

As an avid Kindle reader and someone who had the original white DX and then the 2, God, I miss those Keyboards. I bought this for my mom, who wanted to read books over the summer in Greece. I bought this on Prime Day for 89 dollars. It is so cute. It is smaller than my Kindle. My mom likes it because it is lightweight. I can adjust the font on it, because she has difficulty seeing print in books, which is small. She is now taking it everywhere with her. I taught her how to use it, which was very simple for her. She wanted me to download the classic books for her. When I went to look for them, I had to pay for them. Luckily, I downloaded them all 18 years ago for free and found them in my Kindle History of books. I did not even know they were still there because it has been forever . I like how the purchase came with 3 months of Kindle Unlimited. But I already paid for but it put a freeze on mine and will start taking the payments again in October. Overall, I am happy that she is happy.

Super compact, easy to pack and carry anywhere! So light and thin that it doesn't take up any space. I love my small kindle!

I've upgraded from my Kindle 7, but I have to say that it was such a solid unit, I wasn't eager to part with it. The paperwhite is obviously a HUGE improvement over a standard screen. If it weren't for the E-Ink color version they have now, this would have gotten all 5 - but it's obvious that the color screen is another level, yet. My BIG bone to pick is with the Kindle program unto itself; "buying" books is supposed to mean one has the copy for life, regardless, the change to 'licensed' protocols steals true ownership - and the 'change' was retroactively applied to copies I paid for prior to the change. My new rule is a 5$ limit and just use the 'unlimited' loaner access. Sooner than not, I'll be replacing the entire Kindle program in my information flow completely, it really isn't worth the 15$mo., but I'm already into the program for a few hundred bucks in literature I can't afford to sacrifice/lose right now. The instant page turning is a HUGE improvement over the K-7 and its lags.

As is said - best thing since sliced bread! Could never understand my previous Kindle, but this is so easy to set up and to use. It's easy to put in a handbag or whatever one carries. It will accelerate your wish to read as it's handy, holds just about any book on earth you wish to borrow or purchase. I am so in love with it - now to find a case.......
