DS-1280ZJ-XS Aluminum Bracket Junction Back Box for Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I, 2CD20xx Series Bullet Cameras (1 Pack)

I ordered this box for the install of my reolink cameras and as shown by the pictures they fit perfectly. I tested this with the reolink-410 (pictured) and it works great! Unfortunately it does not fit the reolink-420 fixed dome camera as the hole patterns do not line up. I used PG16 nylon connector which didn't easily screw into the base but it provided a tight, waterproof connection. I grabbed the box because I needed a way to hide the 3 wire pigtail that hangs off these cameras and for the cameras to be mounted just off the house. I will note that the pigtail is tight inside the box and there isn't much room for anything else, but not too tight that everything doesn't fit. I also didn't want to spend as much per a box as the other ones available on Amazon so this box fit the price range for me since I needed to purchase 6 of them. The box DOES NOT come with the nylon wire seal I've shown pictured, but I was able to purchase those separately for 5$/20. The camera does come with (4) mounting screws to attach the camera to the base and (3) screws/anchors for attaching to the home.

First thing first, even though these junction boxes weren’t made to fit my Reolink RLC-410 cameras, I’m giving them 5 stars! To get everything working as shown in my pics, I had to drill some additional holes to fit my camera and anchor them with small hex bolts on the underside of the box cover. Once everything was aligned, drilled and anchored, the boxes are prefect. They’re a great size, not too big and not too small to fit the camera cable and connectors. It’s a tight fit, but looks great when it’s all done.

I was only able to line up two of three screws for attaching the LaView LV-PB932F4 to the box. However, the camera is still very secure. I was able to keep the entire pigtail coiled up in the box. It was only tight because I kept the water tight RJ45 connection intact within the box. Its a pretty long connector assembly. The grommet for cable entry is a bit large for a typical Cat5e/6a Ethernet cable. I couldn't get the grommet to 'seal' or clamp the cable exiting the box. Other than that the box works fine as intended.

I purchased this to mount one of my Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras. According to the documentation, it is supposed to fit. I found that the smallest hole pattern on this mount was a 55 millimeter circle, while the pattern on the camera's mounting flange was somewhat smaller, around 50 millimeters. I like the overall quality of the junction box, but am highly disappointed that it doesn't fit my camera, even though it is listed. Yes, I could drill and tap my own holes, but that's beside the point.

This box works well very solid built and water tight. I used to mount all my cameras and run cables through walls or out the fittings. I bought 6 of these for my project.

Great junction box and very sturdy. Works good with my reolink cameras. They are weatherproof and hides all of the Cables.

Solid product. Easy to install. Has extra holes that worked perfectly with the Camius cameras I have. Its price is about a quarter of what Camius's own junction box costs.

I purchased this without really knowing if it would work with my LaView 4K cameras with strobe light and audible alarm. I couldn’t find any info about a bracket that would fit these cameras, even on LaViews website, and if you have ever tried calling LaView, you understand how useless their support is. These are not a direct fit, but fit perfectly by just drilling a couple of small holes.
