More clinical than impacting.
Nice sound, very balanced. Not as dynamic as I thought it would be. Honestly I couldn't hear the difference in bass to any other stand alone sound bar. It's adequate but not a stand out feature, it's voice projection is though. Voices are crystal clear.

Awesome hardware, terrible app, even today.
It's a great piece of hardware, the new ultra version gives a noticeable improvement in the overhead sounds compared to the non ultra version which I also have. The bass is decent, the dialog nice and clear, and it looks great. The hardware team at Sonos continue to do an excellent job. But, you can probably guess where I'm going with this - the software team, it's such a mess, years after the initial very public issues with their app, it still remains terrible. 3 out of 5 times I go into that app, it won't find my Sonos. I've invested a lot of money in their eco-system and love their hardware and used to be a very happy customer, but now I only stick with them because of my investment, and feel I need to warn others to look elsewhere for now!
