I just got this test wired into my mekedetech M700S 8 core8 with 128gb storage R230 stereo setup and while it took me about 9 hours to wire it myself through the car and convertible top setup through to the center console area on a 2006 SL65, the result is GREAT. Before when I engaged reverse there was a black screen but now Im pleasantly surprised to see the reverse cam working great. I had a 125$ solar camera with 5" separate screen setup and just took that add-on off my car with this mekedetech camera auto-triggering off my reverse light and showing on my main mekede screen its wonderful integration. I won't miss having to press a button on the side of the 5" extra screen hanging off my A/C vent mount to manually turn my bulky old reverse cam on---now it's automatic. My advice, goto a pro installer and they can do it alot faster and not take 9 hours likebI did and use fewer zip ties and do better than I did. This cam upgrade is a must-get. Great add-on! The cable is just long enough for the R230, so route it carefully and watch out to give enough slack for the trunk/panels to fold up and store via that sweet folding back engineering. I almost broke the cam cord it on my first try...leave alot of slack on the camera side (not on the radio-connect side!) and test the convertible top folding carefully and slowly before finally zip-tying it all down finally and youll do fine!
