How do you fit it inside or outside the windows? Our windows are aluminium

If you do not already have an air vent slot in the frame you would have to make one. Timber frame is easy just drill correct size hole and use a jig saw. Alloy frame is a bit more care but, you may need to go through 2 sides as alloy frames are usually with a void inside for insulation. If vent slots are already there, you will need to remove covers if necessary and may need to drill small holes for self tapping screws to fit vent covers. Or try you tube. Good luck

Quality is very poor

Worst quality I ever saw… I had to replace three times. First time it was bent. Second time it was broken inside. Vents don’t stay open… but now I have installed other ones, I am committed to this style. Wish me luck. Third time lucky? Annoying part is .. it takes ages to deliver so I am many weeks into a day job . Just buy a better brand and avoid this one
