Great choice in this price range.
Are there higher end devices? Yep. Do I have 1 or 2 grand to blow on efx? Nope. Do I need to? Nope. This box has likely more than I will ever use or ever need. Wish you could move the chain around & that it had Bluetooth. I've had both on less expensive items. I feel they really skimped out leaving those out & cheapened the product a bit just to add them to the next tier at a higher price. Nonetheless, at this price, there is a ton to work with & no excuse to not sound great if you know what you are doing or spend the time to learn. Love the battery and I use Bluetooth for the guitar so it is still easily portable & convenient. The effects are not really above average, but are quite good and set & mixed properly sound really great live or recording. Plenty of effects & parameters to work with. Not much of a learning curve considering what it has available. The drum machine is basic but excellent to work in your solitude on rhythms or leads. Looper is sufficient for same. I have paid WAY more for just one or two single effect pedals, so I think this is really excellent & affordable for all it does. If your on a budget, this is an amazing pedal. I could have bought a step up or two, but couldn't justify the price point as this takes care of my needs quite well at a stupid low price. Already used it on 3 recordings and they came out great. Actually worked out very nicely on my bass & keyboards (synths) even though I have a plethora of pedals & rack effects for them already. If you have a bit under 200 bucks to spend for something that covers most of the bases, this is an excellent choice. Tried several others. Bought this one and have ZERO regret. At this price, you just can't lose. Really enjoying it!

UPDATE: Software wouldn't connect but new version (GE150 Plus/Pro V2.1.2 Update (2026.4.23))works
Sound seemed particularly brittle, which I guess is a consequence of the digital processing. Not that pleasing to my ear compared to a similar Boss unit I have. It does have four foot switches, a lot of effects, and does work, so two stars from that, but really didn't deliver on the promise of connectivity and ease of modification. The big issue for me is I was unable to get the software to connect to the device and emails to support went unanswered. I probably invested two to three hours, across three different computers to try to get it to connect but no dice. Can't even upgrade the firmware. I was looking forward to being able to adjust and share mods, but alas that is not to be. Windows also flagged the software as potential spyware which did not give me a warm, fuzzy feeling. And of course I threw out the box once I got it so not going to be able to return (lesson learned). I have a feeling it's going to be gathering dust for a long while. UPDATE: After posting this review, Mooer reached out to me (but never replied to my support request emails...). The latest software update (GE150 Plus/Pro V2.1.2 Update (2026.4.23)) now works, and I was able to update the firmware and connect to the software, so now have full functionality. Still very sensitive to hum - some presets are very noisy, sounds like 60hz hum, but others are very quiet. Still deserves a 5 star given the amazing about of flexibility in tone modification for the price. If I were a performing musician I'd definitely want something with cleaner sound, but for my purposes it's well worth the money now that the software works.

A good edition to your gear collection.
The good: Excellent distortion sounds that are easily tunable Excellent clean sounds that are easily tunable The bad: Isolating an effect Starting rhythm feature for a live gig may prove problematic For cover songs, beats might not fit very well. Final thought: It's worth the 133 I paid just for the distortion and clean tones. Very usable metal, blues, jazz and classic rock combinations. You will need to spend some time with this processor to get all that it offers and tone wise, much more budget friendly than buying a few good pedals.

Great tones for those on a monetary (and time) budget
This is a great budget multi effects pedal in a flooded market. We have the Tone Master Pro, the Quad Cortex, and now the Helix Stadium has just been announced. These are extremely technical units meant for tweakers, and gear snobs who are so into a tone they want to adjust the amp model's voltage or bias and capture a tone from their 5k rig. Spend hours tweaking and turning knobs. This pedal doesn't do that. And this pedal isnt for those type of players. So who is for then? As an owner of tube amps that collect dust, obsolete Digitech multi effects pedals, single effect pedals and a Quad Cortex I just bought, it's hard for me to find time to sit down and spend time with these amps and modeling pedals like I used to, deal with their weight or speed time getting presets perfect with snapshots and scenes and all that nonsense. I just want to be inspired to sit down and play. And this unit does that. I can spend time just going through presets and jamming on the tones and maybe a slight tweak here and there but it is instantly gratifying. This is perfect because I can spend less tweaking and more time playing and writing. I stress this part because having a looper and drum machine built in is invaluable for writing and jamming. The fact that it is rechargeable is the cherry on top. I mainly bought this for camping trips with a rechargeable amp so playing outside anywhere with tons of tones is now possible. When I plugged in, I was very pleasantly surprised. There's some great sounds here, but it's no Quad Cortex or Helix, nor is it trying to be. The amp sims sound and play and feel like they should. The UI is easy and I figured it out in 5 minutes. There's no touch screen, no scribble strips, no advanced i/o, no signal chain rounting options, but at this price point, the features they did manage to pack in this thing is very impressive. IRs can even be loaded onto it. I find myself reaching for it more than my more expensive complicated gear due to convenience. I do have some concerns about build quality, particularly the expression pedal which is the very obvious weak point of the whole pedal, it's flimsy, thin, small, bouncy, which makes it hard to get volume to 100, as it rebounds to 90. They do let you calibrate it and program it to any of the amp or effect parameters so that's a plus. Also the LCD screen can be hard to see at times but that is what it is at this price. So to sum up, if you are looking for tons of tones in an easy to use package, a beginner guitarist looking to find their sound on a budget, or looking for portability for outside playing and travel, this pedal should be at the top of your list. It looks like they are adding amps and effects with each update. I bought it on a whim and was blown away.

Lots of fun
Don't expect this to be a game changer and replace all your amps. It's a budget multi effect unit and it's a ton of fun for what it is. The rechargeable battery is amazing! So good not having to plug it in all the time. The user interface is decently easy to use and the screen is great, but the order of knob twists and pushes is a little confusing. Don't expect on the fly adjustments, there are a lot of them. I like that the foot pedal can be programmed to control any setting but I am still figuring some of that out. There is a global eq which is cool. I am kind of bummed that the headphone out is a 3.5mm instead of 1/4" but it makes sense that it's made for beginners. I plan on bringing this to my rock and metal band practices. Gigs? Guess we'll see if it holds up.

Great sounding pedal!
Very pleased with this pedal, easy to set up tones and very rewarding when you get the sound you like. One of the few multi effect pedals that I can program my tones completely from the pedal, without the need for the software. One thing I like is that if you set up an amp or pedal, and then want to see if another sounds better, when you change the module the settings you made are still there on the new module, keeping you from having to start from scratch, AND, no startling volume jumps! Very natural sounding pedal, especially at the price point, rivals more expensive units. XLR outs, battery power, great tones, small form factor, what’s not to like?

Great first or replacement multi effects processor
This is a fun pedal to play with, with so many options. For the price, what you get is un matched in my book. The rechargeable battery is amazing, I jammed with my buddy for 3-4 hours and barely used 50% of battery life. The option to update and load your own IRs is solid and previously only available on the higher end units. The amp Sims are solid. Just play with settings until you find the sweet spot and it will never fail you. The delay types work as they should and sound great. The distortions/overdrives included are so close to their big brand counter parts, having the metal zone back in my grasp is awesome. The choices of tubes as well as mic placement is also a great addition usually reserved for higher end units. There are a good amount of reverb and chorus options that sound clean, and the noise gates work effortlessly. Honestly I bought this because my Line 6 Floor Pod Plus died on me, and I am not mad at all. This is a great, affordable replacement. I will say I'm still figuring out the expression and wah choices. I feel like so far, i am not finding the sweet spot for the Wah/expression options. But it is probably just user error, as there really arent too many videos on the use of that function. But all in all this is an amazing work horse and can get you to the sounds you want and strive for, with ease.

It’s okay.
It sounds okay on its own, a bit fizzy and undefined when using distortion effects but not completely unusable. The problem I manly had is that it practically sucks the tone out of your guitar if you use it in tandem with other analog pedals. The worst part is that there’s no way to really bypass the pedal, meaning even when you don’t plan on using its built in effects you still have to deal with the flat sound. A main bummer was that you can’t use the pedal in stomp box mode, meaning that you can’t program pedals to activate and deactivate in one of the 4 switches. Instead you have to literally create an entire sound bank to switch from which I found completely pointless. In addition the expression pedal is kinda buggy, and will activate on its own even when you’re not trying to enable it. The calibration tool doesn’t really help this much either. I also notice that it adds some input lag from my guitar to my amp, which really drives me crazy. Might not be noticeable to some, but to me it’s throwing me off very badly. For beginners this is a fine platform, but for anyone looking for a 8/10 or better in terms of sound quality, just go buy actual pedals.

An awesome great sounding battery powered pedal.
An awesome MFX pedal! I have a Boss GT1000 and a bunch of amps but was looking for something more portable and battery operated for outside jamming. I also bought the Cool Music 100 battery powered amp and paired them up and they sound awesome together for jamming outside or inside. The GE150 pro has tons of sounds and I've been tweaking a bunch of them and it has way more tone presets than I'll ever need. The built in drums are good too for some accompaniment. There are some nice lead tones and about anything you might want in an inexpensive portable pedal. I picked up a few IR's of the web that I will try out but find that the stock ones are great and very tweakable. The battery charge lasts a long time.

Buena pedalera
