I found a few things I thought were interesting but many of the so called projects were things like putting M&M in a jars or putting dog treats in a jars or prepared cookies in a jar. There is a recipe for baking a quick bread in a jar. but it is shown in a regular mason jar with a small top not a wide mouth jar and doesn't say anything in the description saying to use a wide mouth jar. How are you supposed to get the bread out.

Done that before/ glad I did not pay for it.
Everything here has been done in the major magazines I read in Dr.'s offices or subscribe too. Okay but nothing new.

1 jar = Many gifts
If you ever need a craft or hobby to keep you busy, then look no further. These mason jars are sure to delight you, such as jam in a mason jar, special butterscotch and choc chip cookies (in a jar), gift set for a girl and my personal favourite, glow stick lanterns. There are even recipes for the ones with treats as well. A great buy.

Mason Jar Gift Reference Guide
I use mason jars often for Christmas gifts. Each year it gets to be an even bigger struggle trying to find a new and fresh idea. This book is great because it not only offers great recipes like food and bath soaps, but it has the simple and easy ideas of what to place inside like Hershey Kisses..definitely a new reference guide for me!

Very elementary.

Nothing New
I was disappointed in this book...so many of the recipes and ideas I had seen before. Many were just repeats with a small variation.

Two Stars
Poor editing, broken English, not very creative, more a reprint of someone else's ideas.

Great gift ideas - easy to follow instructions
Love the recipes on cookies as well as the autumn leaves candle.Pictures are great and good use of table of contents.I recommend this book if you are wanting gift ideas, especially like house warming parties and Christmas.

Okayish
Some really basic 'ideas' - e.g. fill the jar with water and put flowers in it; paint it and put pencils in. While there are some good cookie recipe ideas (you give the dry ingredients as the gift) I have seen these done better in a different book. There are a couple of nice fresh ideas but the English is rather poor so two stars.
