I’ve been using MaryRuth’s Organic Oil of Oregano Liquid Drops for about a year, and it’s become a staple in my wellness routine for its immune and digestive support. The 1 fl oz bottle, diluted with organic extra virgin olive oil and boasting a 60% carvacrol content, is easy to use with a dropper—2-5 drops in water 1-3 times daily does the trick. I’ve found it helpful during cold season, as it seems to knock out early sniffles faster, and it’s eased bloating after heavy meals, aligning with user reviews on iHerb and Amazon praising its gut health benefits. The organic, vegan, non-GMO formula feels clean, and the 200-serving bottle lasts ages, making the $20-$30 price tag reasonable. The flavor is sharp and pungent, as expected, but mixing it with juice or water makes it manageable. That said, the taste is a hurdle—some Amazon reviewers compare it to a fiery burn, worse than black seed oil, and I agree it’s intense, even diluted. It took me a week to get used to it, starting with one drop, as suggested by users on iHerb. A few reviews mention minor bruising from high doses (10-20 drops), possibly due to oregano oil’s blood-thinning properties, so I stick to the recommended 5 drops max to avoid issues. The dropper can also be finicky, sometimes dispensing unevenly, which is a minor annoyance. It’s not a cure-all—some users on Trustpilot felt no difference after months—but for me, it’s a potent, natural addition to my routine, especially for seasonal wellness. If the taste is too much, a capsule version might be worth exploring.
