I was worried it was going to be too heavy, but it's not.But I guess I should've read more on it or seen from the pictures. I was disappointed that the 3 compartment one isn't tightly sealed to keep all 3 sections separate. The 3 compartment one seals only between the biggest section and the section where it's split into 2. Not between the 2 smallest compartments also like I thought it was.I thought it was going to be all 3 sections completely sealed from one another. I guess that's on me for not looking super carefully... it's just that in the picture, it seemed that way, but I guess that's why the picture shows the salad dressing in the bottom compartment out of the 2 small ones and not the top. I wish I got the 2 compartment one so each section can be secured and no matter what, no compartment leaks into the other. But I'm not going to return, too much of a hassle and originally, I always wanted 3 sections for my meals anyways. Nice thick glass and great seal. It is deceptively deep so if you are using this for portion control, be sure to weigh your food at first. Seals really well, I put a cheese sauce in one of the compartments and it did not leak into the others. I plan to buy again. I have used it in the microwave but not in the oven or freezer.
