Seem to work great for a clothesline.

This was ordered to use to hang a long-wire antenna for amateur radio (ham radio) use. I needed something to act as a wire clip that would be stable being hung 35 feet up in a tree over all seasons and not decay. I used the clip on 14AG wire with a stainless steel timble to connect to the balun box. The other end of the wire was tied to a dog-bone insulator with this clip. Makes for an easily adjustable endpoint of the antenna for tuning. Stainless steel makes it great for outdoor use in a tree. Great value in the package of 20. Size was right for what i needed. If i was using smaller wire, such as 18AWG, i would get the next size down. I like this design, makes it easy to connect and tighten when installing.

Durable, easy to use. Works for stringing lights across the back yard at longer than normal distances.

BACKGROUND This came up as a Vine suggestion. I was installing another Vine review suggestion (patio string lights) and this looked like it might work to attach the small diameter wire rope that I was using to span the open area of the patio. I was using this wire rope as support for the lights instead of relying on the electrical wire. The wire rope is the one that is sold on Amazon for pool covers for above ground pools. It is fairly thin wire and it is vinyl coated. INITIAL OBSERVATIONS Manufacturing quality was quite acceptable. The nuts screwed onto the threads smoothly with no slop. I've recently purchased bolts at Lowes and they had so much slop in them that I could not get the nuts tight without stripping them. These are definitely NOT like that. I was quite satisfied with the fit and finish. COMPLAINTS / ISSUES The ad says that it has a "safe working load" of 476 lbs. I'm not so certain about that, but it definitely feels more than sturdy enough for the project that I needed to use these on. IMPRESSIONS The product does what the ad says it should do. CONCLUSION The product is quite acceptable and I am Vine gave me the opportunity to try this out. Obviously, it would not be as strong as the traditional U-bolt, nuts, and saddle devices, but it's quite possible that it is still strong enough for many tasks. I'm just using them to form a loop in a small diameter wire rope after it goes through an eye screw so that I can run the wire rope across my patio to install string lights. I do not want to rely on the electrical conductors of the string light for the structural support of the lights. For *this* project, it worked QUITE well. As such, I would rate it "above average" (i.e. 4.0-stars). Of course, I'll revisit this review if I encounter any problems in the future. Needed extra cable clamps these worked well

Extremely easy to use.The best part is, if you need to reposition anything.It allows you to do so with very little effort.

These worked out great for repairs on an under water cable that had its original cable ties deteriorating away. Definitely worked out for us.
