Effective serum
Glow-C Tranexamic Acid Serum by Facetheory. This is an amazing serum that works. It is unscented and comes in a 30ml bottle. The serum contains 5% Tranexamic Acid, Liquorice Root Extract, and vitamin C. A great solution to even-tone the skin, removing dark spots and brightening the complexion. It helps rejuvenate skin with regular use. The serum absorbs into the skin well. The skin feels soft and smooth. The serum does not feel heavy or sticky after application. An excellent and effective serum for healthy and brighter skin. A bit pricey at £27.00, but worth the price.

It does work
At first I thought it would not work on my skin , however after some period of time my acne started fading away and I could go outside without feeling awkward eventually. I am on my second bottle now

Makes my skin look glowy, hydrated, smooth and absolutely lovely!
I was really happy to get to try this facetheory Glow-C Tranexamic Acid Serum as I already use the facetheory Supergel Oil-Free Face Moisturiser and it's been amazing. I have very sensitive skin so always do a patch test just to be careful, I had no issues after trying out a couple of drops of the Glow-C Tranexamic Acid Serum on my cheek so have been happily using it in the mornings before moisturising and using sunscreen and my skin is looking actually radiant - it feels calm, my cheeks have been less red and my skin feels super smooth and hydrated, I am very, very impressed! I really appreciate that this Serum is unscented as I prefer unscented skincare and at the current price of £27.00 for 30ml, even if it's a bit more expensive than other Vitamin C serums, I'd consider it well worth the money as no other Vitamin C serum has left my skin looking and feeling this lovely, I would very happily recommend it!

Facetheory Glow-C Tranexamic Acid Serum.
I’ve recently wanted to incorporate vitamin C into my skincare regime due to its range of tangible benefits including evening out skin tone, improving hydration and fighting signs of aging, not withstanding the fact that vitamin C is also a very safe ingredient. I'm therefore pleased I decided to try out the Facetheory Glow-C Tranexamic Acid Serum, also given the fact that it contains tranexamic acid, an ingredient said to help reduce dark spots and discolouration. The first thing I did was scan the product barcode on the YUKI app, an app that determines whether food and beauty products are good, bad or ugly by looking at their ingredients. This serum falls into the ‘excellent’ bracket with an extremely impressive score of 100/100, the best possible score, meaning zero nasty chemicals. To get a perfect score is quite a rarity I must say. That said, there is a leaflet in the box warning about the alpha hydroxy acid in the serum that may increase skin sensitivity to the sun. Therefore care must be taken to use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. I do use a facial sunscreen daily as part of my usual skincare routine, however I will likely limit my regular use of this serum to the winter months. The directions state to use after cleansing and toning. Apply several drops of product and massage into skin. Follow with a moisturiser. Can be used daily. I cleanse, tone, moisturise, use a day cream and sunscreen every morning. My evening routine is to cleanse, tone, moisturise and finish with a night cream. It was therefore easy for me to fit this into my usual routine and use after toning in the evenings. The serum is fragrance free and absorbs beautifully into my skin leaving it with a bit of glow. I do find I need to moisturise afterwards as directed for best results. It’s early days but so far I’m pleased with how my skin looks and feels after using the serum. Obviously as with all beauty products results will vary wildly from person to person depending on skin type and condition. I hope to see gradual and noticeable improvements to my overall skin tone with continued use over time.

Dark Spot Reducing Facial Serum, Improves Skin Texture and Tone
Wow, this serum is amazing. I have been using it for only a few days and already my complexion looks calmer and more even toned and textured. I did a double take in the mirror because my skin just looked so much better somehow. No redness, no spots, dare I say more youthful? Not only that, but for a long time I've had a small dark age spot at the side of my eye. I can't even see now! The only product I've added to my skincare routine recently is this serum. Could it really be that it's faded the mark so soon? If so, this is a game changer. I was keen to try this serum because I have a Vitamin C serum from Facetheory which makes my skin look radiant, and this one has the addition of tranexamic acid, which to tell you the truth, I hadn't heard of before, and liquorice root extract too. I'm in my early fifties and have all of the age associated issues, wrinkles, fine lines, skin sagging and age spots appearing. Anything that improves my appearance and confidence is worth trying, and I think I might have just found my "must have" product. Before using it on my face, I applied a drop to the back of my hand to test it. Hours later, the skin on one hand was dry and wrinkly, and on the other, it was silky soft and smooth. I knew it was going to be good! It's a clear, ever so slightly oily serum, and it absorbs straight into my skin leaving it feeling pliable and dewy. I love that it's a UK made product, and that it's free from harmful additives and it's vegan and environmentally friendly. For mature skin like mine, it's an absolute dream serum. It's expensive, yes, but not more so than multinational brands, and if it works to prevent and reduce dark spots, the results so far more than suggest that it does, I will purchase it again even though it's a stretch for my budget.

😑
Like everything else, it’s hard to know if it’s doing anything or not. It’s a bit sticky, and overpriced I think. A bit of a meh product.
