This is the perfect tea for those that have a sweet tooth but for whatever reason, can’t eat sugary foods(diabetes, pre-diabetes, on a keto diet, hyperglycemic, etc.). It tastes EXACTLY like birthday cake! I don’t know how they did it! The team who is in charge of creating flavors needs to be commended. What a masterpiece! I personally add a sugar alternative to my tea and for this particular flavor, it’s actually almost TOO sweet. The strength is just right, and I feel it is a great value for the quality. This would also be perfect AS a dessert when one is on a diet(or not)! A special way to treat yourself or someone you love!

I ordered this Happy birthday tea as a treat my upcoming birthday Well today is my birthday and I had a cup this morning to celebrate and what a treat this tea is,it tastes just like a birthday cake.

Would give this zero stars if I could. Doesn't taste like flavor mentioned. Terrible sweetness!!! We literally had to trash this stuff sooooo bad!!! Wish they had a way to refund us as this doesn't taste good!!!

I was a little concerned when I received my horribly mangled box of lemon cake tea. However, that quickly changed when I made myself a cup. I heard you could make this taste like vanilla lemon cake and I’m in my 50s and I’m very skeptical about any type of fads or trends that sound good, but never are. (I tried a red velvet cake tea and it was terrible). I made a cup of tea and added just a tiny bit of lemon. It can be fresh or from a bottle, a tiny drop or two of the vanilla creme stevia liquid and it tasted amazing and super lemony, but I figured why not, let’s add some unsweetened almond milk and wow! This seriously tasted like lemon vanilla cake! I honestly don’t even have to add the almond milk. It just gives it an extra bit of creaminess. Finally, this actually is a tea that tastes like dessert. It completely abolished my sweets craving and saved me from adding unnecessary calories at night. I absolutely love this and now will always have it on hand. Highly recommended!

If you love desserts but don't want to make a whole strawberry cheesecake this is a nice alternative. In a few minutes you can be sipping a flavored tea. I tried this three different ways: 1. Once alone without any additional sweetener. 2. Once with stevia and half-and-half. 3. Once with just straight whipping cream. Alone it doesn't seem to need additional sweetener and is OK with just the stevia in the tea bag. Unless you eat a cookie with it, then you might want an a packet of stevia or other sweetener. With whipping cream it seems to mute the strawberry flavor quite a bit. With half-and-half and a packet of stevia it looks slightly curdled but is fine and drinkable and that is the best flavor. The half-and-half definitely adds the creamy flavor that is necessary for this to taste like cheesecake. The ingredients include: dried apple, hibiscus, natural flavor, stevia and rose hips. I used two tea bags per mug of tea and brewed it for about five minutes. This is zero calories plus any calories you add from dairy products or milk substitutes. Each tea bag is individually wrapped so they stay fresh. If you enjoy hibiscus teas and stevia I think you will like this tea. It definitely is scented like strawberry and tastes pretty darn good! ~The Rebecca Review

Love natural tea and love this too

I should have paid more attention before buying this. The tea uses artificial sweetener to flavor it, and I was looking for something with zero sweetener at all. You might like this if you're cool with aspartame, but personally, I took one sip and spit it out. I ended up throwing the entire box away. :(
