6 Door Handle Springs (2.5-Turn Coil, 2.5mm Thick, Black Coating) Plus 6 Circlips

Ideal replacement repair, saving £25 purchase for a new handle. All the other new springs were used to replace springs in other door handles purchased at the same time as the one which failed although they hadn't failed. If one old spring had failed there is a possibility that the other springs could be close to failing. Ensure you have a pair of circlip pliers, which might require the tips being modified to fit the holes in the cirlip. The new circlips were used instead of reusing the old ones. For some reason they are a better fit in the circlip groove even though they are the same thickness. Probably because they appear to be better quality than the original ones. Replacing all the springs allowed me to clean and lubricate the handles.

Need a couple of these for some old door handles. Worked fine. Fitted perfectly and seem to have a decent amount of spring to them.

Springs are a bit little weight, but does the job.

I am a fairly competent DIY’er and repaired two door handles with this little kit. That said even a novice could have done likewise. Saved me a fair few quid not having to replace perfectly good door handles.

This is a good outfit. You try to buy items like this in your High st! You can’t anymore! I shall definitely use them again.

En casa se rompieron los muelles de dos picaportes. Medí los muelles rotos con un pie de rey, ví que las medidas correspondían con los de estos muelles y los compré. El resultado ha sido excelente. Debe tenerse muy en cuenta que para montar y desmontar los anillos elásticos que sujetan el picaporte se deben usar alicates especiales para circlips/arandelas elásticas/anillos elásticos, como los Knipex 00 19 57 o similares, además de protección ocular.
