BEST. TOOTHPASTE. EVER.
I have extremely sensitive teeth & have been looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste for a long time. My dental hygienist recommended Dr. Jen's toothpaste to me over a year ago, but I passed on the purchase when I saw the price! I was considering having some sort of densensitizing procedure done on my teeth this year, but my hygienist recommended I try this toothpaste again. I finally decided to try ONE TUBE & see if it helped, because the price seems crazy to me for a little tube of toothpaste. WOW. It was just delivered on June 30, so I've used it 1-2 × per day for a little over a month. I was first blown away by the mint taste...it's very "classy"? Like just the perfect amount of mint to be refreshing, but not "hot"? 😄 I think it tastes wonderful & that makes me almost look forward to brushing my teeth instead of it being such a chore. The second thing is the DRAMATIC DECREASE in my sensitivity! Like UNBELIEVABLE in this short amount of time!? I literally just ate cut up pieces of cantaloupe STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FRIDGE (IYKYK)!! It was slightly uncomfortable, but I by no means wanted to fly out of my skin like I normally would have! NO. WAY. could I do that before! I would have had to do the "puffy cheek sensitivity dance"! I am excited to see how things are in 6 months & a year! I know this toothpaste is spendy, but I'm TOTALLY SOLD on it & will 100% be reordering. I HIGHLY recommend this toothpaste to anyone who is struggling with sensitive teeth. I have used S******** for YEARS & YEARS & never received ANY of the relief I've received from Dr. Jen's toothpaste in 4-5 weeks! CUSTOMER. FOR. LIFE!! I use hsnd-held floss stick, a water pik, then brush with a sonic toothbrush, followed by a tongue brush. Toothpaste is not gritty AT ALL & doesn't foam. Per my hygienist's instructions, I do NOT rinse. At bedtime, I also rub a small amount of the toothpaste along the gum line of my most sensitive areas & leave it there.

Holistic Dentist Recommended & We’ve Seen a Big Difference
Our holistic dentist recommended Dr. Jen’s fluoride-free toothpaste with 10% nano-hydroxyapatite after my daughter had struggled with quite a few cavities. We wanted something that would help strengthen and support her enamel without fluoride, and this was the product she specifically suggested. One thing I really like is that it’s a non-rinse formula. After brushing, she just spits and doesn’t rinse, so the nano-hydroxyapatite can stay on the teeth longer to help support enamel. That gives me extra peace of mind knowing it’s continuing to work even after brushing. The texture is smooth and not gritty, and the flavor is mild enough that she actually uses it without complaining. Since switching, her teeth look clean and healthy, and we feel much better about her cavity prevention routine. The only downside is the price — it’s definitely very expensive and one of the most expensive toothpastes out there. But for us, given the dentist recommendation and the peace of mind, it’s been worth it.

Sensitivity and gum issues be gone
Great toothpaste! I've been incorporating more nano hydroxyapatite into my oral care routine, and I was pleased to find this with a verifiable 10% concentration. It's pricey, but worth it in my opinion. It only takes a tiny amount to do the job, which is actually surprising considering it doesn't foam. I'm prone to canker sores, and this prevents them. The taste is fresh and not too overpowering. It's great if you have sensitivity, and definitely reduces or eliminates it. I had professional whitening done, and zero sensitivity because of this. It's great for preventing stains on your teeth (huge coffee/tea drinker), too! And, if you have gum issues, this will help tremendously. My dentist was very pleased at my appointment this past week. Will continue to use, and recommend to others.

Glad I tried it!
I took a gamble in buying this toothpaste - I guess I am a creature of habit, but I was concerned about switching. I am impressed with promise of nano hydroxyapatite and enamel, so I bought it! It does taste very good, and I have no trouble reaching for it instead of my "regular" toothpaste these days. I will buy again as soon as this tube is empty. It seems a very good value for the money, and my smile continues to look very nice! I think is probably very good for oral health, but I am not a physician or dentist, so I can't say for sure. But I believe this is supposed to be developed by a dentist, so I trust that it is a solid and reputable product. I am very glad that I tried it, and I will continue to use it, and I hope the enamel protection is good! I think it is a very effective toothpaste. Also, the texture is not gritty in any way; it is a nice to use product.

Why change the size? …
I really like this toothpaste, but I was disappointed when my latest order arrived. I’ve been purchasing the 4 oz size, but the package I received today is noticeably smaller. I wasn’t aware the size had changed, especially since I’m still paying nearly $30 for it. My dentist recommended Dr. Jen’s because I’m allergic to fluoride, and I’ve been very happy with it. It’s fluoride-free, leaves my teeth feeling clean, and has a much more refreshing taste than the other fluoride-free toothpastes I’ve tried. I still recommend this toothpaste because the quality is excellent, but I feel customers should be informed if the package size is reduced. Paying the same price for less product is disappointing, which is why I deducted one star.

Dr jens is the one to get, though it is costly
I already like this paste after using it a few times. They got the flavor right, the 10% nHap (nanohydroxyapatite) right and it has the most favorable reputation among practicing dentists. For some reason though only the box has the complete proper instructions, which is to spit, but not rinse for 30min. The tube says nothing about not rinsing for 30min, this is an oversight that should be fixed as everyone typically throws away the box as soon as they get home. I've tried a few different brands of nHap pastes, boka, ollie, then this. Boka has a good price though I think it's less than 2-5% nHap which may or may not be ideal. The science is showing that rod shaped 10% nHap is ideal for best results. Does this mean 2-5% is completely not effective? No idea, still searching for answers and everyone still is as this tech is kind of new. I've have ollie 10% nHap as well, but the first time you taste it, gives a weird lotion like aftertaste or something and that one is not exactly pleasant. It also smells like lotion. After a few brushes, the taste improves and becomes more acceptable, but the clean mint they chose wasn't implemented that well. Perhaps there's unit variance, but it's weird. Dr jens as far as all my exhaustive research has shown, is the best one in the market, but it sure is expensive so what I might do here is alternate between boka and then dr jens honestly. So overall dr jens has the taste right, the texture is good, ingredients are acceptable, it feels fine after brushing, I notice nothing weird.

Significant decrease in size recently.
They recently changed the size from 4.0 fl oz to 3,4 fl oz. That’s a 15% decrease with no decrease in price of course. I have been buying this for years and like the product but the cost is too high and I will go with something else in the future. There are plenty of less expensive similar products that can buy. I got it mainly because it is Fl free. There are other similar products on the market that are cheaper. Xylitol is not good for you either and poisonous to dogs. Of course I could switch back to baking soda too.

Great Therapeutic Benefit & Flavor!
Excellent percentage of NHAp, (10% is the maximum therapeutic benefit), and great flavor. Some other NHAp brands I’ve tried leave an odd flavor in my mouth after, but Dr. Jen’s does not — it’s just minty fresh. The strawberry flavor is also excellent! Yes, it’s pricier than national brands, but when it comes to my teeth, I want to keep them all and I am willing to pay to maintain them!
