Platters and Boards: Beautiful, Casual Spreads for Every Occasion

I bought this to go with a charcuterie board as a wedding gift. I flipped through and it is full of board ideas for every occasion, event, and even little things like breakfast in bed. Beautiful color photos, ingredients, and directions are shown for each board. I don’t even make charcuterie boards bc I find it to be a daunting task. I think I’m going to order this book and a board and start making boards. For anyone that attends a bring a board party you are bound to win given all the options and ideas in the book.

Gave each of my daughters this book for Christmas. Recipes looked good without being too "cutesy".

So I gave four stars because I can't fault the writer. I didn't find it as practical as I'd hoped. I should have done more research. Beautiful spreads, just a little "too much" for what I was looking to create.

Love this book - great images, great ideas

I initially bought this book for myself. Since I love entertaining, it was a perfect template for my soirees. In fact, I liked their delightful ideas and gorgeous suggestions so much that I purchased three more copies to add to fundraiser baskets I have donated to non-profits in the past year. This book is a great hit! The pictures and descriptions are easy to follow and gloriously impressive! Just remember, when the compliments come rolling in, smile and nod! ; )

Delicious photographs. They say you should feast with your eyes first. Well, this book shows you how easy it is to arrange foods beautifully and quickly. Simple ideas & recipes for putting it all together AND so artfully. Makes entertaining so easy, you'll be inviting friends and family over more often, really! Enjoy!

This was bought as a gift and I know the recipient has used several of the recipes and I have enjoyed quite a few when I was visiting. So even if people do 'Platters' regularly there is something new to try
