Easy to install and works flawlessly as expected. The instructions and video make it very simple to install (take your time and do it right!) it took me maybe half an hour to get the opening shaped how I like and to fully install it. This isn't a very hard project to install but it does require some careful handling around the electronics and making sure the plastic goes back correctly. One last warning: make sure you are getting the right one for your model of controller! There are at least two main model categories and they look the same on the outside but need different parts!

Worked. Easy to install. The hardest part is to cut out and make the micro-USB hole larger to fit USB-C. But if you match your version of the board and cable, it is a relatively simple mod to ditch micro-USB. I only use my controller with my PC. Bluetooth functionality is unaffected. I have always had weird problems with the status indicator light on these controllers but that didn't really change with this mod. I'm happy.

A nice modern quality of life upgrade for the PS4 controllers. Nice somewhat modular unit allows for more than one controller type. I thought both of my old controllers were the original variant but even though both are CUH-ZCT1U internally they had revision changes so I had to use different ribbon cables for each (came with both versions)

I love thrifting and working with my hands. One day, I found a PS4 controller at my local Salvation Army for $7 and figured it was cheap enough to take a risk. Turns out, the controller was just dirty and needed a charge, so after a proper disinfection session, the controller was about as new as it could get. Sadly, I've long since done away with MicroUSB charging cables on my devices and was hoping I could convert it to Type C easily. This ElecGear module did not disappoint! Installation was super easy, controller took a charge immediately, and no issues after repeatedly unplugging and plugging the cable into the USB port. It feels very solid and the LED bar shines just as well as the OEM. I didn't need two, but maybe I'll get lucky and find another controller in the future. Either way, I'm really happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anybody with a PS4 controller!

Works as intended. Took a bit to install on the controller due to filing the hole to make the usb-c to fit in but it was easy. Works a lot better. Works a lot better now when plugged into the PC, no more random disconnect.

Great mod, came with 2 so I did both my controllers. Work great, hardest part is the filing to get it to look like its factory but still doable

After some troubleshooting I discovered for the original first Gen controllers, step 3 your JDS cable should con exted to the LH side & close the RH FPC cover closed. The directions need to be updated. Hope this helps

PS4のコントローラー(第1-3世代)の充電部分をtype-Cに変えるキットです。 コントローラーの分解が少し大変ですが、分解動画を見ながらやれば大丈夫だと思います。 肝心の商品ですが、凄く親切で良かったです。 まず、付属は基盤本体(2つ)にそれを繋ぐケーブル(2)丸ヤスリに本体を削るヤスリ？が入っていて商品ページの動画を見ればそこまで難しくもなく。ちゃんと充電もされています。 値段もそこまで高くないし、初心者の方も全然できると思います。 凄くオススメです。
