Not what I was expecting - it was FAR FAR better!
I enjoy good knives, I have a couple Benchmade knives, ESEE's, Ontario, etc. Some of these $100++ knives came to me horribly ground with a dull edge. I enjoy sharpening, so I took it as a test of my abilities. Not so with the Eafegrow CH3002. This knive arrived in spectacular condition. The fit and finish are simply amazing for a $20 knife. The edge was razor (shaving) sharp, which I actually tested on my arm hair. The edge was "hair popping" sharp. Still, i saw minor, expected machining marks on the edge itself, which I stropped to a mirror finish. Now it's beyond razor sharp and it has held that edge for a week of cutting cardboard, rope and other items. The scales (Jade) are gorgeous. Again, I wasn't expecting much for $20, but I found the finish on them to be very well done, especially in the harder to finish areas. The metal itself was also extremely well finished, resembling the D2 blade on my Enzo Camp knife. Like I said, this thing performs and looks like a knife that is far more expensive. I will be buying more Eafegrow knives for Christmas gifts this year! Positives: 1) Fit and finish are spectacular. 2) Sharp as a razor. 3) Blade is centered and well put together. 4) Edge is machined very well as is the rest of the knife and the finish on all metal and plastic parts. 5) Frame lock looks like it was polished and fitted to the blade as it has a very positive lockup, but doesn't "stick" when trying to close like my CKRT blades do. 6) PRICE PRICE PRICE 7) Blade is very robust. Negatives: 1) The detent on the knife in the closed position is hard to get through. So when you're flipping it, you have to have a good grip on the knife, it can be hard to get the blade out. (My 76 year old father CANNOT open the knife.) You need to be strong and know how to use a flipper. 2) D2 rusts fast. Not the fault of the manufacturer, but you need to be aware and be proactive in caring for the knife. I have one tiny spot on the blade that rusted quickly, probably from sweat as I was using it during a severe heat wave last week. 3) Blade is a bit too robust (heavy), but it's almost a 4" blade, so it was expected. Handle is lighter weight, which compensates for the blade. 4) No other way to open the blade other than the flipper. 5) Marking on the blade is cheap ink. If they are serious about their brand, I would expect them to etch their logo in the future. Still not a deal breaker for me. 6) Once you own one, you'll have to buy more! :)

Excellent quality!
The knife is a little bigger and heavier than I expected from just looking at pics and description. The G10 handles are the same color as some other G10 I have had, but the finish and method of attachment to the knife give it a softer feel. The action of the blade flipper is the best I have ever seen: it is absolutely smooth and crisp with no wobble at any position, perfect center alignment, firm lock with no play and no risk of accidental release. The action is smooth and pleasing both opening and closing the knife. The blade is well made and well ground with the proper excellent geometry throughout. The edge is fairly sharp out of the box. I have no reason to believe it is not well made D2. The steel handles like a quality steel throughout the sharpening process and will take an extremely sharp edge. In comparison with other blades, it acts like it is around 58rc, which is plenty hard for most folks. Considering the quality of the knife overall and the feel of the blade and its ability to take a good edge, this is one of the best values in a folding knife available anywhere. This is the second of these knives I have purchased, the first was a gift and is given pretty hard use on a daily basis. The gentleman I gave it to purchased another for his son. Excellent knife.

Beautiful knife
This knife is really pretty. It's sharp and the blade is of good quality. My only real qualm is with the bulkiness of it. It looks slim and sleek in the pictures, but it's actually around a half inch thick and doesn't fit comfortably in the back pocket. Other than that it's a beautiful knife, and the price was great.

Wow!
I needed another pocket knife like I needed a nose on my elbow. This was just an itch that I had to scratch and I'm glad that I did. I ordered one of these with the creamy jade handles. It is a beautiful and well crafted knife. The liner lock even has a little comfort contour for your thumb so there is no sharp metal edge to bite you. I mean this is the level of build quality that you just don't see at this price point. The fit and finish are top notch and it opens smoother than ANY folding knife that I have and I have a lot. I've been collecting knives my whole life. I mean this thing is butter smooth and requires very little effort to swing the blade open. At first I thought it was spring assisted, but no, it's just that smooth. My EDC rotation blades are a Spyderco Endura, Cold Steel Ti-Lite and a Benchmade Griptilian. These are all on the larger size for pocket knifes and around the same size as this knife. This knife is heavier, however, than each of those, but not significantly so. If you are used to carrying a larger pocket knife, then you probably wouldn't notice the weight difference. The pocket clip is not adjustable, but it is in the correct spot (tip up carry) for me. There is also a lanyard hole. The liner lock works as expected and locks nice and tight with no slip. The metal frame is skeletonized, probably to save weight. This is an open frame design with no back so that means that if any pocket lint or other debris gets in there, you can simply open the knife and blow it out. The fasteners are Torx screws so you could take the knife apart if you ever needed to. The G10 scales have a light texturing to them so it is easy to keep your grip and they are very comfortable. This knife easily competes with knives that are 3 to 4 times more expensive. Pros: Beautiful High Quality - I've never seen anything like this at this price point. D2 Steel Smooth Action - Again, this is the smoothest opening knife that I own. You've got to try it to understand what I mean. Shaving Sharp Blade Zero Blade Wiggle Tight Lock Up - No slip or blade play in mine. Creamy Jade Scales in G10 Cons (I'm nitpicking here) : The pocket clip isn't reversible so that may be a con for some people, but not me. Scale edges may be a little sharp for some, but nothing a piece of sandpaper couldn't fix quickly.

Wow!
I just received the knife so Obviously I have not Used it other than examining it for 20 minutes but WOW! I am a Spyderco man and came across this knive while scrolling through knives and stopped at it because of the high reviews as well as the look of the knife. I read the reviews and ordered the knife. Spyderco will probably always be my primary EDC knife but I love this knife. It’s fit, finish, grind and edge seem flawless. It opens very smoothly. I like many others consider most knives from China as cheap...This knife is not cheaply made but rather it is inexpensive! I am already planing on getting at least one more and if my sons like it then probably several more. It is a beautiful well made knife. The only two things I would change would be to make the “flipper” knob a tad longer and beef up the lock scale a tad and mabey skeletonise the scales....but I am nit picking. If I did not have the funds to purchase Spyderco knives this would definitely be my EDC unless use proves otherwise. I know a gem when I see it. I prefer function over form ( I am also a Glock Man ) but I have to say this is a beautiful knife! Gibbs of N.C.I.S. Rule number nine “always” carry a knife”. I am a 29 year Police Officer and my rule is always carry two.... this is my new “back up” knife. P.S. the clip seems solid and is blade up which I prefer.

Warning: Liner lock would not fully engage
After eagerly unboxing this knife I had three immediate take aways: 1) the knife has a wonderful balance to it 2) the liner lock would not fully engage 3) it was sharpened well After bandaging myself up and filing down the leading edge of the liner lock, it works great. The blade itself was not affected by filing which is promising for the strength of the cutting edge. The consistency of the ground edge is questionable, but I intend to modify that anyway so it's not a major deal. The handle/scales are easily marred but they're decorative because the partially skeletonized frame they mount to is doing all the work. The frame is not the same metal as the blade and is softer and easier to reshape but still sturdy under hand testing. The bearing washers are nice and appear to be a bronze color washer with steel ball bearings. When properly tightened down, there is no blade play and the action of the knife is ridiculously smooth. Ultimately, the liner lock not engaging is/was super dangerous. Please watch for this on yours if you choose to buy this knife. It's a relatively easy fix, but don't be afraid to send it back to Amazon either. This absolutely should have been caught during the QC process and 4.5 stars for the blade finish/material and the action of the knife -0.5 stars for the scales (a very minor grievance imo) -2 stars for the inability of the liner lock to engage

EXCELLENT FOR THE MONEY!!
This is a super sharp highly sturdy knife. It is D2 steel which I like very much.. not the highest grade but excellent for everyday use you do not need to pay more money for highest grade steel - D2 is used for surgery and other demanding situations = holds an edge. I even used this knife to jimmy open a rusted mail box. It did not tear up the knife. It weighs only 4.5 ozs and carries easily. The blade flips open as fast as any OTF knife. This locking, I feel, is more sturdy. My favorite knife. and trust me.. I've had a few. For $30 it's a wonderful bargain.

Definitely worth $30
For a ball bearing, D2, Flipper with a blade over 3.5 inches. Really liking the Jade color I chose too! It just arrived and the blade has 0 play, centered, sharp, and flips to lock 100%, although it seems slightly sluggish. I'll give it a chance to break-in before breaking it down for a clean and lube. The handle is lightly scaled on the perimeters and may be slippery for wet/greasy hands. Not a issue for me, but something to note. Also, the edges are a little sharp for my liking, but I'll give them a sanding down when I do a cleaning. The clip is right hand, tip up only and doesn't look that it could be modified for lefties. Why do manufacturers do that? It works fine, as is, with blue jeans and can be easily tweaked to your liking. Overall I find this knife to be a great value that can be easily adjusted for one's liking. I'm very impressed with the quality of inexpensive flippers, such as this one, Ruike, and Honey Badger knives. Besides, if it's lost or damaged beyond repair, it's relatively painless to buy another one. PB&J for 2 days instead of 2 weeks!
