Easy to install. Smooth. Convenient.
This drawer is very easy to install. You just have to slide the drawer out and screw in the screws to the bottom of the shelf you're attaching it to.The slide has ball bearings and is very smooth. It also has a detent of some sort to lock it in the closed position so it requires a slight tug to open it, which is a good thing.I'm using mine to hold 18 V tool batteries in the baskets and the actual tools by hooking them onto the bar and the wires of the baskets..My single issue with this product is that the top of one of the flat metal pieces that make up the cross pieces on the basket had a very sharp burr that I had to file down. It was definitely easily capable of slicing a finger or forearm or hand open with a slight graze. This is the reason for three vs five stars; poor quality control and an actual physical danger left on the product as a result thereof..Overall this is a great product but poor QC keeps it from being a five–star item.
