Installed real easily, very loud, overall a really great quality product! It's higher pitch than you would expect from a train horn, but because of its size it is to be expected. You could buy five of these and still not be as expensive as an actual train horn kit. If you have minor knowledge of wiring, this will be an easy install for you. I mounted mine up using some modified connection points to attach to and aftermarket harness I had already installed previously, and incorporated the old horns extension bracket to be able to mount it in the same location of the engine bay. I would definitely recommend putting some thread lock on some of the mounting bracket bolts. The kit comes with serrated lock nuts, which I personally feel won't hold up to the vibrations of the engine, so a little bit of threadlock will fix that.

This is such a cool device, they are fairly loud for how big they are. I would love to get a quad set that would be fun. Wire length is short but they're meant to be tied into your existing wiring. Really good value for the money. I paid over $300 for a small air compressor and three horns a while back this is a much better value. Horn quality is pretty good I wish they were slightly bigger for a deeper tone but they sound great. And they function amazing. It's funny cuz people move out of the way so fast

It works and easy to hook up but sounds wimpy. Needs a deeper sound , but it works nonetheless.

This truck horn was not as loud as it says it is. We went ahead and left it on our truck for now but we are going to replace it with a true train horn. This one isn’t loud enough but is louder than a car horn, doesn’t help when we are towing our 41ft 5th wheel and people keep cutting us off!

Not 600 db, very wimpy sound. The quality is was you would expect from amazon, not the best. Good value for your money but I will be replacing soon. Looks decent, nice shine to it. Easy to install, wire length just about right but instructions on there are poorly written. Better not provide any if they are this useless. Not a fun horn to use, sounds pretty feminine. If you want your horn to sound wimpy and have other make fun of it, this the horn to use. Also after about 6 weeks it burned out, its installed behind the grill and maybe with some water from the rain it turned to junk. What a waste of money.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this horn for my husbands truck. It was easy for him to follow the instructions to put them in. He even went to YouTube and was able to see it installed to follow. The sound is really loud and sounds perfect. The quality of the material used for the horn is really nice and it comes with everything that is needed to install. The length of the wires was perfect for his truck it was just right. Depending on where you put it you may need more wire. He is happy with it.

I will say, this product is louder than my current horn, but in terms of tone, it’s more like a caboose—less “trainy,” more “clowny.”

Enough wire to get the job done, louder than the original horn, easy to install, great quality and working great 👍🏾
