For people who have never used the DPL procedure in beauty salons, it will be hard to believe that this light really rejuvenates. I did not naively believe in the advertisement of this product, I know from my own experience what the DPL procedure is. That is why I immediately hurried to buy this thing, knowing that salon procedures are not cheap. The only risk was whether these light flashes were real or fake. Luckily, no. After two weeks of use, I have an even, light, and glowing skin tone on my whole face. Two small pigment spots disappeared. I am also fighting with two big pigment spots on my cheeks. They are already fading.

Does not work. Do not waste your money

I love this, I got it maybe more than a week ago and already im in love. Its so easy and efficient. I love the fact that you can put the settings on auto and you dont have to press the button 100 times. It already made one of my bigger acne scars look smaller than what it was and I cant wait to see how much better it'll get the more I use it. It's cool too the touch yet powerful. Very worth it!!

For this price, I don't know about you, but I'm expecting miracles! Lol. I honestly feel like my good quality red light masks have done more for my skin then what I noticed from using this over a short period of time consistently. Also, I don't find myself reaching for this very often because it is a lot more cumbersome than some of my other gadgets, especially my masks. I can't speak to it's s long-term use because it's not something I want to reach for as often as I probably would need to see major results. I would definitely recommend this to someone with a lot of time on their hands or someone who would use it in a salon for clients. This is definitely an investment gadget.

The JOVS Blacken PRO is like having a spa set up right in my bathroom. From the luxe case to the dark emerald green appliance itself, this is a weighty (but not too heavy, it definitely doesn't feel flimsy) option for maintaining and elevating skincare on my own. I read through the instructions booklet at least four times because there are a lot of "don'ts" and I wanted to make sure I followed the directions to the T. I started on the lowest setting (Bri/Pore mode), slipped on the sunglasses, and then did a test area on my inner arm as suggested. Here are my takeaways: it's a noisy gadget, it's very bright when it flashes, and it made my skin very warm. There is definite redness on my inner arm and that skin feels a little tender. It feels a little bit like a sunburn. This is all to be expected. I applied a gentle moisturizer afterward. I am hopeful that as time continues, I will notice changes. As someone who loves to pamper myself at home instead of spending tons at a salon, this skincare device is an awesome option to have on hand! It is easy to treat my focused areas, and connecting to the power source is intuitive and simple. Being able to have such a lovely case to store it in is also a definite plus.

I received what appeared to be an open box or used item. The protective wrap looked like it had been taken off previously or not put on correctly on the device and the box. It appeared in good shape, but I feel it was at least a returned item but was listed as new. I contacted the seller about this and never heard back. I have only been using the device for about a week so I can’t speak to long term results yet. It is comfortable to use and the cooling tip works. I haven’t experienced any irritation during or after use. It’s quick to use. My face takes about 3 minutes to treat. I use the glasses that came with it but also close my eyes when I push the flash button. The directions aren’t the most clear as far as using the different modes and the frequency - for example should I use only one mode each time or can I use multiple for the different issues. I also sometimes accidentally push the button to change the mode instead of the flash button because it’s very sensitive and in the same position just on the opposite side of the device. My main concerns are redness (flushing and broken capillaries) and some dark spots. I have light skin tone with dry and sensitive skin. I will update after longer use but I’m removing stars for the apparent condition of the product and lack of response from the seller.

I'm going to be really honest with you. I was terrified to use this thing. I've never used anything like it, and I've never had a facial at a spa, either, but I do have melasma on my forehead that has bothered me for years, and my skin has lost a lot of elasticity over the years, so I thought I'd give it a try. But I just couldn't do it. I stared at the box and its contents for weeks, chickening out each time. Then I was traveling for a little over a month. But now I'm home and determined to man (as it were) up. Terrifying before starting and startling at first when using. But it's not painful and not even too uncomfortable. It says I need to use it 2-3 times per week for 4 weeks to begin seeing the effectiveness, but I cannot be trusted to remember to use it, so I'm thinking it will take longer for me. I will update later when I see some effect (or, alternatively, when it's clear I'll see no effect, if that's the case). So for now, I'll leave my review at 5 stars.

Didn’t care for this product at all. Very expensive and didn’t live up to the hype. Emailed the company numerous times and got nothing in return. I ended up returning the product.
