Love it! Have to admit, I was halfway expecting to be a little disappointed. But it is very well made , nice heavy weight/ durable construction. Comfortable, fits a 6ft 200lb person no problem. The instructions are super easy to follow. Two people definitely make it easier to assemble, because it is very sturdy/well made . Absolutely recommend.

I saw a site that rated the top 5 ADK chairs, and these got top marks. The design is great, but they are 'plastic', however not the flimsy plastic, they basically used plastic boards, not the worst thing. The instructions are great, easy to follow, but I did run into a few quality issues, on BOTH of the chairs I bought. Some holes were not drilled completely (easy DIY fix), and one nut was missing requiring them to send me the part and a tool to install it. Not ideal, but their customer service was great, but issues I feel should not have made it to the customer, which I voiced to them. As a result, it took me a week to put them together as I had to wait for the additional items. Time will tell how sturdy they are, or if they fade, they feel comfortable. I wouldn't go sitting on the arms or anything, but I wouldn't do that to a wooden chair either. People have to be reasonable with what they expect from a chair of this price. I feel it is a good value, looks great, is comfortable, and with some common sense (I know, I’m assuming a lot), it should last a while. And they do smell, as others have noted, I had to assemble them outside as it is a bit overwhelming. I have not noticed too bad while using them though.

Easily put together by a 67 yo woman by herself and placed in the back of her pickup for a camping adventure. Taken out by herself and set up at camp. Tolerated the rough road without damage. Once camp set up and time for R & R with tea in hand sat down in the chair and OMG it was a treat! Perfect height for petting the dogs, no worry for slivers, wide angle arm rests for snack setting and cup holder for tea. It is comfortable and feels strong/sturdy. Foldability pre and post travels are easily done and the pins hold the chair in place. I highly recommend and well worth the price.

The chairs look great and seem sturdy (I’ll update once they’ve been in use for a while). For now - don’t even THINK about trying to use the silly little wrench provided in the package - you need to use a real one. Most of y’all probably already know that but this mama only figured it out halfway through the first one. Definitely easier to put together with two people because you have to tighten the bolt with one hand (using the alan wrench) while holding the nut tightly against the frame with your other hand (while also keeping the two chair pieces flush). Pretty awkward. Also keep a drill handy because one of the pieces was missing a hole. I have one more to put together so we’ll see how that one goes. Just wanted to give this advice now. I did put these together myself. The first one took an hour and a half but by the third one it was only 30 minutes. Took off one door because of the missing hole but may add it back after I get a bit more use out of them.
