It punches well and easily. With the leverage of the long handle, it is even easier to punch pages than with a standard three-hole punch. It is, however, very heavy. I’m sure this is good in the long run, but at the moment it means finding permanent table space instead of shelf space. The second drawback is that desertcart’s AI answer bot told me the machine could punch 2mm chipboard. Nothing that thick will even fit into the machine. It has no problem punching several sheets of cardstock and I look forward to trying it with smaller chipboard. It is packed well and is very easy to assemble took me only few minutes. It is new so it will have some black oil coming from the blades when you first use it. That is why it came with white cardboard that you have to initially use to get rid of the oil. The blade is pretty sharps I can punch at least 15 pages clean.
