Bought this for my son for Xmas and he is a big gamer. I was lucky enough to try it and it is awesome. I love gaming as well and the Feel, looks, and ergonomics of this keyboard cannot be beat. The keys feel responsive and smooth. The actuator slider is amazing, it will either make your key strokes more or less sensitive to pressure so in FPS games is can be a real game changer. The RGB is nice and pretty standard. I do like that they sent a wrist support. I can no longer play M&K due to tendonitis in my arm, so anything that supports better ergonomics, especially for younger players is a bonus. The Keyboard is smaller in size and feels very sturdy. My son goes through keyboards like tennis shoes, and this one seems like it is built to last. I really enjoy this keyboard and if I could still use M&K I would buy on for myself!

The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 is an outstanding keyboard with an excellent typing and gaming experience. The OmniPoint 3.0 HyperMagnetic switches feel incredibly smooth and responsive, and the adjustability really makes a difference for both gaming and everyday use. Build quality is premium, and it looks great on the desk. My original unit did arrive broken, which was disappointing, but the recovery experience was very positive. After contacting SteelSeries, they quickly directed me to work through Amazon. Since I purchased it on sale, I wanted to make sure I kept the same price—and Amazon handled everything flawlessly, shipping a replacement right away. I’ve now been using the replacement for a few months with no issues, and it’s been performing exactly as expected. Despite the initial hiccup, the keyboard itself and the resolution process make this an easy recommendation.

I read all the reviews but this will much less technical and more about feel and ergonomics. I go through keyboards like they're disposable. I yearn for that perfect experience I had from an old Dell keyboard in the late 90s. It was mechanical and so smooth. I hunt and peck and occasionally brush other keys which results in typos and rework. It is not productive. When I get frustrated enough I go in search of a new keyboard option. I have donated at least 20 keyboards to Goodwill. All function but they just didn't have the right feel. Until this one. I knew it was pricey but I felt it was worth it if I could finally find a keyboard that didn't frustrate. This is it. The keys have the tactile feel I truly appreciate but they are not loud like a Corsair. Everything is smooth and easy to use. Even if you can't figure out the basics without a manual,. the manual is very easy to read and use. The keyboard is perfectly responsive and does not add artifacts if I brush a key. I find it hard to believe I would ever say this but typing on this keyboard bring true pleasure to me. I cannot attest to the gamer ability since I just work with it. For a work computer, this is worth the price of admission.

The sound and the lights work amazingly. I cant connect the lights to my computer due to the software not being compatible with my Mac. Other than that I feel like the keyboard is well structured and quiet. I feel the battery life could be better but is not terrible. I like that it gives you warnings when it is getting low with the light array. Great value for money very well built keyboard.

After using a RAZER Black Widow Ultimate keyboard for the past 11 years, I treated myself to this wildly expensive, very fancy keyboard. I thought that I enjoyed typing on the RAZER because I like the loud clicks which provided some feedback. This does not click nearly as loudly, but it is much easier to type on. I'm not a good typist, but the keys are so smooth that I find myself able to type faster. The challenging part is using the software to fully take advantage of all the keyboard's sophisticated features. I find myself struggling with understanding the software and how to use it. The first thing I did was to try to set the keyboard color, but I ran into problems. I've been going back and forth with ColdSteel employees via email which is highly inefficient. They sent me video clips, but they don't work like they are intended to. I had the same problem with the RAZER in trying to link their mouse to their software. I guess if I were in my teens rather than 70s, this stuff would be somewhat easier. I do find that the instructions on both RAZER and ColdSteel websites regarding their settings are distinctly incomplete, which leads to these problems. I'll persevere for another week or so and hope that I don't need to return this to Amazon because it is inherently a very cool device.

Very responsive for pure FPS gaming.

seriously a 100% worth it purchase. received it in the middle of a valorant game, switched keyboard mid game. complete difference from my last keyboard! loving it thus far!
