Creates a warming environment and is a great centre piece for the living room. It is the same as a fan heater, so it does make the same noise as one of those devices.Personally I would buy it as a decor feature, rather than a heater option. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice electric fireplace *by A***C on 26 January 2024* Like this colour changed electric fireplace. The flames like real and can change the color to blue, red and multi-colour. It is easy to use w just plug in the socket once you receive. The remote controller makes your life easy, you can set it to operation when you are sitting on the sofa. You can set the time and the temperature to save the energy. It is good for decoration and keeping your house warm in an easy way, but not to burn the real log in the fire place. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice but the fan hum let's it down *by Q***T on 12 November 2024* The media could not be loaded. Great idea, fits nicely and seems sturdy construction and delivered swiftly in good packaging. Works out of the box but no batteries for the remote included. Remote is flimsy. The fan noise is gentle but still annoying for my purpose. Onboard switch allows cold, low or high temperatures, whilst remote control allows for more precise temperature change in degrees celcious. Three colour light settingd, natural red flames, blues flames or purple plus mix of blue and red flames. Suits small room for occasional use, the fan noise let's it down but nice solution as it fitted in my fireplace cleaned bucket perfectly.You can have the just the lights/ flame effect on but putting on cold blower which go silent after a few seconds. So that's a positive. But could be cheaper as paying etc for the colour changing isn't justified.
