The two bulb sockets are controlled independently by way of a small chain hanging from each. I used what I had to hand which was 2 x 40 watt which was far too bright so I bought a couple of 13watt and that's what is in my images. Very atmospheric and cosy looking.This lamp is a fair old size, the diameter of the shade is 42 cm.I paid £126.99 in Aug 2019.
