Absolutely does what you want from a simple stop watch. It does timer, it does countdown, but most importantly, you can turn it off when you're not using it! And it came with a AAA battery.

works as expected. sometimes the buttons get a little wonky if you are clicking through too fast but it works as it says it should work.

This is the best stopwatch timer. Why? It is easy to use says my non-tech savvy spouse! He walks in the house and wears it like a necklace. I bought a bright color for him so he can find it easily. The alarm is loud enough but not annoying. This stopwatch is easy to carry in the hands if desired.

Exactly what I wanted. Simple, no frills, on/off button (save battery), easy to change AAA battery (included). (I wish I could find an inexpensive model that has a backlight. Any help?)

I've vowed against assisting Amazon by leaving reviews of products; however, when a seller blatantly lies on their product page, I'm moved to alert other shoppers to save their time and money. This YS-805C stopwatch is claimed to be silent, even using this as a selling point. In no uncertain terms, it is not silent and there is no mechanical means of turning off the beeping. I needed a stopwatch for timing film shoots (silently), placed the order so it would arrive on time, and now I'm left without a viable option. If you require a stopwatch that specifically does not beep, or whose beeping can be turned off, do not waste your time, money, or trust in sellers on Amazon with this item. It is NOT the stopwatch to purchase.

TPNEG Chronomètre YS-805C Acheté pour décompter les temps de repos à la muscu, ce chrono a peu de fonctions ce qui est bien pour cet usage, du coup il est simple d'emploi. + 1 appui long pour mettre en fonction ou hors fonction + 1 fonction chrono + 1 fonction minuteur/décompteur (facile à programmer) + 1 seule pile AAA (changement sans outil) - il bipe à chaque pression sur les boutons ce qui est un peu agaçant.
