Renegade Game Studios Raiders of the North Sea Expansion: Hall of Heroes, Ages 12+, 2 - 5 Players, Playing Time 60 - 80 minutes

The Hall of Heroes Expansion for Raiders of the North Sea is a much needed expansion if you are looking to add a bit of complexity and length to the already stellar gameplay of the original game. A very nice addition that this expansion gives is player boards for each player and an added 5th player (purple) option for larger group play. This expansion also adds another location in the Village where players may send (or retrieve) a worker and take one of two possible actions: 1)Charm the Crowd (gain a card to their hand and gain a combination of mead/silver) or 2)set out on a quest (which will gain them resources (provisions/silver/plunder) and a quest tile. Gaining mead allows players to add more strength to their Vikings during a raid. A quest tile, along with providing resources, is added to the top of your player board where it will provide the player with "end-game victory points". Collect (3) similar Quest Tiles to gain a reputation tile (game comes with 12 for great replay-ability, while only 4 are available each game) which will provide an immediate bonus and will also be placed on the top of the player's board to go toward that player's end-game victory points. This expansion adds some nice extra complexity with more hand-management and more things players can do throughout the course of the game. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful board game! Great expansion to Raiders of the North Sea! It’s a favorite game to both my wife and I. This expansion adds great content to an already amazing game.

Really enjoy base game and this expansion is nice addition

Another great addition to the base game, Raiders of the North Sea! This is a bigger expansion than Fields of Fame and provides a whole new option for game play. This gives you another way to gain resources as well as victory points. And this is easily played with the other expansion, Hall of Heroes. I would I recommend playing this base game once through before adding either expansion. It just helps to grasp onto the main idea of the game more easily. Both expansions complement the base game as well as each other, providing the necessary game pieces to add that 5th player option.

This expansion adds a tavern where you can recruit members for free. It also adds quests system where you discard cards to complete quests and gain resources. The more quests you complete, the more points you get at the end.

A friend found us their copy of this game and we immediately loved it! It’s a bit simpler than our usual games (lords of waterdeep, terraforming mars, above and below series), but we love it nonetheless! But both expansions and they are great add-ons to the base game.

Adds player boards

Just as “Fields of Fame”, this expansion is another must have for “Raiders of the North Sea”. It gives you another worker placement option, the mead hall. You can go to the mead hall to recruit one of the faceup townsfolk and receive some coin and/or mead with them. Mead is used to add military strength to your crew while raiding. A second mead hall action is to go on a quest. Quests are a new tile that gets added to a location after it’s been raided. It’s a new way to get victory points. The base game combined with both expansions adds many paths to victory. I will never play “Raiders” without any of these again.

I really like the game play for Raiders of the North Sea and this expansion has added just another great element gives you more choices and paths to Victory!

拡張２となるこの作品ですが、拡張１より癖のないモノでインストもしやすかったです。 拡張要素が絡むプレイヤーボードですがマイボードがあるのは嬉しい。 あと、略奪時のダイス運を嫌う人向けの要素が増えてるので、そういう人も遊びやすくなってます。 あとは、拡張らしい値段で手に入れられれば最高なんですが、海外輸入なら諦めましょう('・ω・`)
