We've installed this rack on our '21 Toyota Highlander. Installation was a straightforward process. Mounting bases and the cross bars are all labeled to show correct placement on the car. Fasteners are stainless steel, with metric hex socket heads. The necessary metric Allen wrenches are provided, and there are spare screws, in case you happen to lose one. The mounting base covers are fixed in place with keyed locks, and two keys are included. Since similar racks are priced at as much as many times the price of this one, with list prices and car dealer prices up to more than $700.00, perhaps this anti-theft feature is a good idea. Rigidity of this rack seems to slightly exceed that of one of the major brand's racks that we compared. We added Loctite 242 Blue thread locking adhesive to the crossbar screws, to ensure that they remain secure. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Fit the vehicle, easy to install after watching YouTube video. The video on the product page doesn't show the crossbars actually being attached to the vehicle's rails. We then immediately attached J-Lo kayak carrier to transport our kayak and everything is good!

Maybe it's not fair to compare a $90 genetic roof rack to a ~$400 Yakima on durability but wanted to at least provide perspective. It's pretty darn inexpensive and the metal components seem acceptable but the plastic housing for each tower is pretty flimsy. If you won't be hauling heavy kayaks, bikes or cargo, then this might meet your needs but I need something heavier duty. Decent for the price.
