One of the best calligraphy sets
I love how pigmented each and every ink was. The feather is absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that I would say is when you open the cap on the ink jars your fingers will get messy so wear gloves while opening the jars.

Great gift
I gave this to my elderly mother with a leather bound journal so that she could write to her great grandchildren. Instead she wrote a whole journal full of my failures and disappointments to her. It was still a great gift idea...

Pretty nice quill.
The pen itself is very good. The nib that comes attached is very decent quality and writes well. Holds ink very well. The others, not as nice. They seem scratchy and hard to write with. For the price though, I wasn't expecting amazing quality. Its a good writing set. The ink is nice and vivid. If you're buying it as a gift for a novice or just for fun, its a go. Not professional quality by any means though. Fun.

ENJOYING THE WOODEN 1.
THE WOODEN 1 IS SMOOTH & SO EASY 2 WRITE WITH. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT'S 2 BIG 2 FIT IN2 THE JAR OF INK. U HAVE 2 TILT THE LITTLE JAR 2 GET AT THE INK & HOPE U DON'T SPILL ANY. & IT DOESN'T HOLD THE INK LONG OR IT DOESN'T HOLD ENOUGH INK 2 WRITE MORE THAN A FEW LETTERS OF EACH WORD. THE OTHER PEN FITS INSIDE THE JAR BUT IS UNCOMFORTABLE 2 HOLD & WRITE WITH. BUT IT'S PRETTY 2 LOOK AT. & IT ALSO HOLDS THE INK LONGER. SO, I CAN WRITE LONGER WITH EACH DIP OF INK. SO I THINK I'LL GIVE THE WHOLE THING 3 STARS.
