Update: I'm not sure where my old post with my initial review of Hairmetto went, however you can see it in the paragraph below. I have been using hairmetto for over a year now and this product continues to amaze me with the results. I mentioned in my initial review that I had responded well to hairmetto and hoped that it would continue to work for me. I can safely say, one year onwards, my hair is thicker, softer and more healthy looking than ever. Considering the amount I blow dry, sometimes straighten and constantly style my hair, my hair still maintains a full, healthy look. I attribute this to Hairmetto because before I started using it, my hair was brittle and unhealthy and worst of all It was falling out quite rapidly. After my first hair transplant to fill in my hairline, I urgently had to start using something that would protect my exisiting hair around the crown and mid front of the scalp without the potential harsh side effects of drug treatments. Hairmetto has been the protection of existing hair I needed and is the central treatment I use for healthy hair maintenance. I used to be in shock at the amount of hairs I'd see in my combs or hands after styling or even running my hands through my hair. Now when I style or run my fingers through my hair there is at least 80% less hair fall. Hairmetto has stabilised my hair loss and even thickened up my crown and regrowth all over my scalp. I compliment my hairmetto usage with Pura D'or gold label anti hair loss shampoo and maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet which no doubt plays a role in healthy hair. There are however, some tips I would give to make the most use of hairmetto. 1. You don't need to drench your scalp in it! : For the first 10 months of usage, I applied a very liberal amount of oil throughout the whole top of my scalp. I ripped through bottles very fast and although the effects were almost immediate and I responded well, I was using way too much and it certainly wasn't very economic! I would be buying new bottles almost every two months. I have scaled back my usage to simply three drops, one on each temple peak and one on the midscalp which I massage in nightly and there has been no change in the positive results I've had with hairmetto. 2. This IS an oil, so expect to be washing your hair quite frequently. I wash my hair every second morning with Pura D'or Anti-Hair loss shampoo which has been a great compliment to Hairmetto. Since cutting back to only three drops per night on my scalp, my hair is much less oily the next morning and not as difficult to style as before. Some argue washing your hair that frequently isn't healthy, but all I can say is the results have spoken for themselves and I'm just gonna continue doing this if it means keeping a healthy, full head of hair! 3. Be diligent and patient. I was lucky to respond pretty quickly to this product and saw results quite fast. However, it has taken diligence and really incorporating it into my nightly routine just before bed. I did experienced hair fall when rubbing the oil in for the first few months, but this has greatly decreased through consistent usage of hairmetto. Also, don't freak out if there are one or two hairs on your hand after using it: we naturally shed hair all the time. Something I had to remind myself as I continued to use hairmetto. Asides from the inevitable oiliness of the scalp after usage, I can hardly call this a drawback because the benefits have been so strong for me since starting usage of hairmetto. I continue to experience zero side effects from hairmetto and will continue use it. Thankfully there is now a powerful, natural alternative to minoxidil or finasteride. Will upload pics at some point! Delivery has always been speedy process too. Considering I live in Australia, the time I have received my hairmetto orders has been very fast. P.S I rarely took pictures without a hat on before my HT and commencing usage of hairmetto so I don't have many clear shots for a before and after. However, will upload pics of current hair soon! (Old post) After only a little over one month of use, hairmetto has almost completely stopped my hair loss. The quality, thickness and density of my hair has doubled. I haven’t felt this confident in my appearance in years. For the past five years I have experienced aggressive androgenic Alopecia (runs in the family) which impacted my self esteem and confidence greatly. Hair after hair would come out when styling, washing or combing and I could notice the gradual thinning of my naturally thick head of hair that I so badly wanted to keep. I refused to take Finasteride and risk the potentially serious side effect of this drug. In desperation I turned to Minoxodil from which I experienced constant headaches, dizziness and little benefits for my hair with continued use. I also tried Trichogen and a range of other chemical based topical solutions with little to no effect. I even underwent a hair transplant this year to fill in my hairline, which I was extremely satisfied with but knew I would have to find a way to protect the rest of my hair from falling out in a side-effect free way. In a last ditch effort I ordered a bottle of hairmetto after stumbling across it online. With the abundance of ‘snake-oil’ and ‘natural’ hair loss scams out there, I was suspicious to begin with and wasn’t expecting much out of hairmetto but have been shocked and amazed with the results I have seen in such little time with NO side effects at all. Whether I am simply a great responder to this product, I don’t know, but I highly recommend this product to any other young men who are suffering from genetic hair loss who are looking for a side effect free solution. Give it a shot, you’ve got nothing to lose. Fingers crossed that hairmetto continues to work this well for me! I used this product religiously on my head for several months in combination with a couple other products (Maxoxidil by Hairguard, NutraM by Advanced Trichology). I would apply Hairmetto at night, and one of the other products in the morning along with once weekly dermarolling. This product is too thick and greasy to wear in the morning. After 6 months of growing my hair out, I got my hair cut and my hairdresser complimented my hair, mentioning how I had no split ends or thinning. Overall, I do think this product is effective in slowing hairloss (thanks to Saw Palmetto) and improving the health of your hair, but you will need to combine it with another product + dermarolling to increase bloodflow to the area and maximize results. I will likely buy this product again in the future, as I've read all the research behind the ingredients so I know it's effective (at least as a natural hair loss prevention solution). My only gripe is that it's way overpriced for the ingredients that are inside, but the bottle does seem to last 2 months or so with daily use.

I am using this product from 1 week and my hair fall has reduced a lot. I think I will keep applying this solution everyday for more than 2 months to see hair regrow result.

I'm finishing up my second bottle of this oil blend. I have noticed a decrease in hair loss after one week of using this product. I ran into this product online and I'm glad I found it. I tried Rogaine before and with my luck, I suffered all of the rare side effects it listed. I had horrible under eye circles, experienced nausea and dizziness. I had to give it up. I read online that saw palmetto oil was good at combating DHT so I made a decision to buy this product among all the other saw palmetto oil blends I've seen on Amazon. I chose this one because of the reviews and the bottle looked legit lol. It's pricey but it's worth it. It's natural and it works (at least for me - everyone is different). I also want to advise you all buying this product, that you should use this product on a NIGHTLY basis. I went some days without using it because I got too lazy and confident with the results but I started shedding a lot of hair afterwards. Consistency and patience is key. If you're gonna use this, use it every single night. Don't get lazy or comfortable like me because you're going to have to start the whole process all over again. I purchased a handheld scalp massager to help stimulate the blood circulation while having the oils in my head. I'm not sure if that helps but at this point, I'm wiling to do anything to keep the hair I have. I also take biotin and two capsules of saw palmetto, orally. That's my regimen to reduce my hair loss. I'm a 28 year old male BTW. Hope this stuff works for you as it has worked for me!

This product did not work and is so greasy it will literally ruin your sheets. I sent it back for a refund and was not given a full refund.

I thought I'd give this a shot, along with taking my 1mg finasteride to combat the starting of my male pattern baldness. The price is a bit steep I must say. But I didn't want to use minoxidil any more. This has some promising and natural ingredients, and I'll use this in it's place. I put this on after my shower, After my hair has just dryed. About 3hrs before bed so it has time to go into my scalp and not come off on my pillow case. I will update my 3 month thoughts.

I waited to write a review because I obviously wanted to see if it actually grew any hair. It does. Not Elvis hair, not full thick bushy curls but some hair. I had hair transplants going on 40 years ago. Back then the method was not what it is today. I have plugs, close together but plugs. I was going to have it redone but decided to let it be. Mainly because it involved redoing the existing plugs and I was afraid that I would lose what I already had. I bought this stuff and gave it a try. First of all it smoothed out the plugs on my scalp. What I mean is the plugs were somewhat raised and never was like a smooth scalp, This stuff actually made it relatively smooth, not perfect but a lot better than it was. Secondly I noticed that I was growing some hair between my hair plugs, not a lot, but pulling on short individual hairs I could see they were between the hair plugs. My hair plugs look fuller too. So in closing, I can definitely say it grew some hair. If you ever go to a hair transplant surgeon, they charge you by the hair, so I feel I'm ahead of the game so I will keep using this to see if it adds more hair, or see if it just maxed out.

I bought this as a gentle product to put on my head immediately after dermarolling. Rather than using minoxidil right after dermarolling (which is not recommended because it could potentially over-absorb into your system), I use this right after dermarolling and for 24 hours following dermarolling while my skin/scalp is still in the process of healing from the self-inflicted injury. It smells great but it is very greasy and will stain your pillow case. On nights I use the product I put a bath towel over my pillow. I will admit this product does seem quite expensive for how much you are getting, but if you only use this once a week after dermarolling then this bottle will last a very long time -- likely a year or more.
